I think the tape measure gives a truer picture of what is happening with my body. Since I deal with chronic kidney failure, my scales tend to be all over the place due to fluid retention or any host of other issues. With the tape measure, it is what it is and the way my clothes fit will back it up. I just realized this morning that I am wearing two sizes smaller in my panties than I was in the early spring. What a surprise that was!!! Sure had me smiling!!!

Which do you think tells the truier tale; the scale or tape measurer?

I will no longer be weighing weekly or monthly. I will only weigh at the doctors office. I will do my measurements once a month on the 1st of each month.
I think the tape measurer tells a truier tale cause it shows you for certain if you've lost inches compared to a scale not telling you if you're retaining fluid or have on too clothes when weighing.
