Hi MJ2AHM,

I find when I have technical questions which is rare, I go to the "Help" section on the top of the page. It takes you to "Frequently asked questions". On the second page of FAQ scroll down to the bottom and you will find the e-mail to SparkPeople. There, you can ask your questions. I haven't had a problem with lagging or changing pages in SparkCoach. It sounds like you have a technical problem to me. They should be able to help you.

I have a few questions, and maybe these have been answered before.
1. I am having problems with the huddle. Every time I go to it, it says that I have to be a team member. Does anyone else have this problem and how can I fix this?
2. The only way I can get to the Private SparkCoach SparkTeam is when I have finished all my goals for the day, or it brings me to the last page. Should this show up with all my other teams or is there another way to get to this team?
3. Sometimes even when I go to the team at the end it says that this is a private sight and I have to log in. When I go to log in, the team page will appear and then it will go right back to sigh in again and keep repeating the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or why it is doing this?
4. Does anyone else have a problem with going from Spark Coach to Spark and or vice versa? It keeps on wanting me to log in. Example...I will click on an article to get more info from the spark coach site, which brings me to the spark site, I will not be able to put any input or feed back on anything while in Spark. It wants me to sign in and it won't always let me I have to close everything down and go from there. The purple link on the top of the page will work to bring me back to sparkcoach. When done with spark coach I have to log in again to spark.
5. Does anyone else have problems with their computer lagging while using Spark anything? It doesn't happen when I do other things but while on Spark I have problems. It gets very frustrating and that is one reason I had left spark before.

Any help with any of these would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

There is supposed to be a Spark Coach app for phones, but I can't find it in Google Play Store. Any suggestions? I am on my phone much more often than my computer and thought it might be more convenient.

My 7-day free trial is up. While my overall weight didn't change because it had been so long since I actually input my weight into the tracker, I lost 2 lbs my 1st week on sparkcoach and am interested in signing up for the year program because its the best price (and I've actually done well this 1st week and feel it could help me long-term with my mini and big weight loss goals)...but I can't figure out what the 2 free dvds and 5 free e-books are? Any insight?

Tatastha -- if I understand it correctly, the program doesn't "advance" without you, so there's nothing you've missed. It was explained to me that you will get new videos each time you log in, and they aren't based on the date -- only on the last time you logged in.

You can track food and fitness for previous days, but the Coach program won't progress when you don't log in.

When you complete stage 4 they will give you the option to go back and do it again, or Consistency and Motivation, or Busting Plateaus, etc. I am presently doing the Consistency and Motivation section, but I will go back and do the first one again to see what else I can pick up. Hope this helps.

what happens after stage 4? I'm now on stage 4, although not in achievement terms. If you've not done it all or progressed as much as you'd hoped, do you start again. I am greatly limited in my physical activities r/t :

Removal of IVC Filter (procedure which required the Interventional Radiologist to go through my jugular vein to retrieve a filter which was placed in the Inferior Vena Cava in 2008 to prevent blood clots from going to heart and/or lungs). This filter, which was metal, shifted and punctured my L3 vertebral space and was pressing on the spinal cord while another piece had punctured the pancreas.

A week later the pain returned with a vengeance and I found out I have multiple compression and transverse processes fractures. I know wear a brace and am awaiting to hear if I am a candidate for vertebralplasty.

My Question is: How can I exercise with such limitations???

I bought the book so get the three months free spark coach...so far I'm glad I didn't pay for it, I'm not seeing how its different from the free site...what am I missing? The visualization is written, not even audio...the "coaching" seems to be longer videos of what's available on SparkPeople...there isn't any special or extra workouts or eating plans...can someone explain what I'm missing??? Thank you!

Is this problem being generated on your side or my side? I keep on losing the abilty to count my water and receive SparkPoints. I can't select Spark Temas to display on my Spark Team, nor change their order on the page. And I cannot watch Spark Videos. The Spark Points and comments page is displayed instead.

It was fixed within 5 minutes last night. I suffered with a crippled page for a few months and then decided to contact you. Today, a new day same problems cropped up.

It is a free site and I love it, but it does drive me nuts.

Just got an answer from an e-mail I sent to coach. They asked for clarification--Started this message before I found the way to respond. Make sure that you are eating enough--especially protein--like kale etc.

I make a lot of juices and kale and spinach are high on protein.

I use Iodine Plus 2 for extra iodine. The Mega Food brand of products, as well as the Garden of Life products are all FOOD based and vegetarian. You can buy their items online.

I know that if you begin to track all of your food, you can actually use the internal food search engine to find foods that meet the criterion you set. In addition, you can even look up recipes baed on a certain cuisine etc.

I recommend that when you first log in, after you'[ve done your wheel spin etc-- go to the articles and videos at the top-- you'll find lots of information that way.

I may have to quit SparkCoach for a while. My question is, if I cancel my membership does SparkCoach keep the programs I've completed? Can I go back to view completed programs when I start SparkCoach again?

This is my first day and I am wondering; does Spark Coach provide any advice on foods to try? When I track, I am usually on the high end for carbs, but on the low end for protein (if I even make it into the range). I don't eat red meat very often and don't care for seafood. And, as funny as it might sound, I don't get enough fat on a daily basis. My feedback suggested not using low or no-fat products, but the only thing I eat on a regular basis that qualifies is yogurt. Most of the fatty things I would choose are things I should avoid, like mass quantities of chocolate!

SparkCoach keeps you accountable, gives great tips, additional info which was great for me, as I had reached a plateau. Since I've joined the SparkCoach SparkDiet Program I am feeling much better about my fitness and weight management goals. I've made a few adjustments i.e., meals and exercise. Its helping, my attitude and energy has gotten a much needed boost and I'm sleeping much better throughout the night too.

I have been unable to purchase the new book as I just cannot afford it at this time, but I have been ignoring the SparkCoach Program because I thought it cost money (I guess I wasn't paying attention??) Is it free? I have started it and I keep waiting for it to ask me for money to continue!

I bought my book on amazon for my kindle, and I wonder if there is anyway I can download the food list, to the computer or if it is on Sparks somewhere
