I have trouble w/ your "stay focused". I think I have a short attention span when it comes to controlling calorie intake. Maybe it's called ADDD (attention deficit diet disorder). BUt I'm working on it.

My best tip, and the thing that helps me the most, is to track everything AHEAD of time. I use my tracker the night before to plan my meals and snacks for the day. Then I consult it throughout the day to see what my next meal/snack is. Of course when I lose focus I don't preplan (like for today, but I'll sit down tonight and plan for tomorrow).

Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing all the while expecting different results.

Timing has a lot to do with the success of a rain dance.

I wanted to share a few tips that are working for me, and I would love you to share some that are working for you! Woo Hoo! One tip that is super important is to feel good about yourself and your weight journey, and never beat yourself up even if you stay the same or gain - it's only 1 weigh in and you get to start over that very same day. Any loss is a success! It all adds up to great results!

Drink water, track everything you eat, get moving with simply walking or things you like to do, even if it is only for 10 minutes, and in time you will want to do it. Stay focused and positive, make time for yourself-you come first, eat high fiber and low fat, fruits and veggies you love and you will find the pounds coming off. Keep healthy snacks in your bag or car. Take it "one day at a time", or even one minute at a time. Eat filling foods. When stressed and feeling you must eat something, substitute fatty foods with healthy foods.

In some cases you might keep old habits (like wanting a nightime snack) but be sensible with quantity and what you eat. Don't deprive yourself..make smart choices. You WILL reach your reward and it will be a NEW YOU and you will feel so absolutely wonderful about yourself...I promise!! Give it time...it took time to put it on and if you take it off slowly it will stay off and it is so much healthier for you. The important thing is that you are here. It is a lifelong journey of a new healthy you!! ENJOY!!!!
