This brag starts off with a BOOOO ... I was so stressed out last night, I woke up an hour after going to bed with tension and muscle pain in my shoulders, neck, and back -- all personal reactions to stress, I know them well. I got up and got some warm fat free milk and sat down at the computer. Thank God for Pattie who played a word game with me for an hour while I caught up on my SparkMail, email, etc. I finally conked out at 230 but that 605 alarm came too soon. I popped right up and put my workout clothes and shoes on before I could make a different choice. I grabbed my phone and earplugs and got out the door. My walk started slowly, but as the beat of the music picked up, so did I. I felt great for doing it! Completely destressed for the morning. Of course, once I got to my office and the students started lining up at the door (we're nearing the end of summer semester), I felt it rise up again. This time I closed my door for a few minutes and used the breathing technique I learned on the Stress Busters group. When I opened the door, I was revived and renewed! YEAH ME and YEAH SPARK!!
