So glad you are doing better sometimes its just one of those days or weeks and maybe we cant take it anymore this is when we need a nap :) I was so upset yesterday never saying a cross word but you could not see the fire inside. I even was heating up over a game with hubby though he never knew. I blame this on being a woman. after sleeping I am ok today

Thank you all. I'm dong better You are all right and I'm not sure why I let it get to me. I'm usually good at not getting down. I think between being tired, etc. it was a busy week. To add to the week on Saturday it was a rainy, cold day here. Did some errands came home hoping to have some soup for lunch and was about to make I when the electricity went out and was out for 2 hours. What can I do but laugh and have some light for lunch. It was that kind of week. Doing much better today. Thanks again.

when you are on a new workout schedule sometimes that little gain can be muscle somewhere maybe in your calf's if walking and so on. Muscle weighs more then fat it is better to go by how your cloths are fitting then the scale. I would never say give up the scale cause I use it to. It keeps me on track. As long as your not gaining 5 or more lbs I say your doing great. Just watch your intake of food and what kinds of food your getting plus exercise. If you feel it is not working after a month I say go to a doctor and tell him\her so you can find out why. Always keep Doctors informed of what you are doing they are there to help. Please don't be discourage. I kept losing and gaining the same 25 lbs for a year. Now I am losing. It all takes time. Not Always as much as mine has but you know what I mean. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Stay Strong!

@JEANINE100 emoticon I hope you feel better as well. The scale at times can be our worst enemy. As long as you know your doing the best you can do, you may want to stay of the scale for a week or two. What your experiencing could be fluid retention, growth of muscle, or just simply our bodies trying to adjust to what's going on. For myself, at times I still get the up and downs in my weight; however I think it's normal but needless to say it can be very psychological and damper our mood. Remember you are doing your best emoticon and we got your back emoticon

Chin up, buttercup! I'm sure it's just part of fluctuations and water retention. Don't let a half pound get you down. Don't let the scale EVER dictate your mood. It's just a number for that day that reflects, but doesn't explain, all the goings on in your body. Just keep on doing the healthy stuff, and smile that no matter what the scale throws at you, you are still making changes for the better!

I am sorry and can so relate. At the end of week 6 doing p90x3 I have gained 6.3 pounds! Put me in a funk! Sure I hear that it must be muscle...it weighs more than fat....ya dd ya da ya da....I know it is support and encouragement. But my goal is to reduce this caboose! ;). We need to just hang in there and keep doing it. Changes are coming! We are getting healthier. ;). Let's not let it suck away the joy of our day! We are so much more than the number on that scale! God is great! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I sure hope your day turned out better than it started. Hope you enjoy the weekend. Be safe, stay strong.

Personally this is why I don't look or use my scale. I know it will discourage me. I know that working out is what works and I feel the change even though I may not see it right away.

We can do this! We are not alone in this journey!!

I'm doing this because I LOVE ME!

Friendly, funny and working on the fit part, join me?

When all else fails, laugh!

Because working out and pushing past the pain and excuses is my new drug!

A bit discouraged today. I've been working really hard this week and hoped to have lost a few pounds but I gained 1/2 pound. I know where I went wrong so I'm a bit down. I think it is also because we are having a very gloomy day outside and it is suppose to get cooler this week. Hopefully, I can get myself in a good mood. I know I can lose this 1/2 pound but it is just my mood today. Take care all.
