I've been thinking I want to make sure to live a recipe for smile wrinkles when I'm old--if I get there. (as opposed to frustrated, growly, frowning ones!)

Smile often
Love
Forgive
Look at all issues in light of the bigger picture (i.e. don't get upset at little things)
Enjoy life
Laugh with children (and grown-ups too)
Relax
Pray (instead of worry)

oh... so this isn't in a 'recipe' formula, maybe someone else can improve it! :o)

That is beautiful, it makes me wish that I were a chid again in my mother's kitchen.

We all have food recipes, but this recipe thread is for all the other things that we'd like to make!

I'll start with the following, to help you get the idea here:

RECIPE FOR A HAPPY KITCHEN

4 cups of Love
2 cups of Loyalty
3 cups of Forgiveness
1 cup of Friendship
5 spoons of Hope
2 spoons of Tenderness
2 spoons of Kindness
2 spoons of Understanding
4 quarts of Faith
1 barrel of Laughter

Take Love and Loyalty and mix it thoroughly with Faith. Blend it with Tenderness, Kindness and Understanding. Add Friendship and Hope; sprinkle with Laughter.. Bake it with sunshine. Serve generously daily.

Hugs,
Cindy
