Can I get away with answering "everywhere"?

Seriously, I really want to wander over the lava flows near Reykjavik and I want to backpack in for an overnight at Victoria Falls to see the lunar rainbow at full moon.

My next vacation will be a week in April at Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas and then Gulf Islands National Seashore in Mississippi and then some urban exploring in Metairie/ New Orleans.

My favorite weekend trips are good rock scrambles and yesterday I was just chasing pigeons in Central Park. Any chance to be breathing fresh air, moving my body, and seeing new sights appeals to me.

And I'd never heard of renting fire towers! One more thing on my bucket list - thank you!

Hiking in the winter (here in Ontario, Canada) is difficult unless you have snowshoes!

I love to travel and go for hikes... One of my big adventure was hiking the West Coast Trail (Vancouver Island, Canada) with Jeff (you need to book it way in advance and plan 5-6 days of intense hiking ... but the view is spectacular... so much that we are talking about going back.
Climbing/Hiking Mount Robson was also memorable.

Summer hikes in Ithica (NY) and Bear Dunes (MI) were great! Not quite a hike but a climb for sure was Diamond Head (Hawaii) last May.

I would love to go to Nepal and hike from Katmandu to Base Camp.
Grand Canyon (or a run/race there would be quite spectacular).
The Great Wall of China is also on my bucket list.

Next trip is Cancun (Mexico)... and Pittsburg... not sure if we will go for one there but I know we will be doing a lot of walking! Finally Jeff and I are going to California next April and we are looking forward to hiking Berry Creek Falls Loop at Big Basin Redwoods State Park (San Francisco area)...

Thanks for sharing... Happy hiking my friend! xox

I think that our TEAM is slowly fading as we face Winter and needs inspiration to pick things up so I'm asking this question:

If you Could Hike ANYWHERE where would it be?

For me in this particular time of my life I am feeling very out-of-shape and would like something to inspire and motivate me & make me feel safe. I have thought a lot lately about packing in my own gear and staying on top of the world to fire lookouts. SEE:

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...
