You should check out - their stuff is, I think all, free videos on youtube.

I'm sorry you're frustrated, but inspired by your continuing to hunt for just the thing that will work for you. I struggle to maintain my fitness in the winter, too.

I always struggle every winter with diet and weight loss. Here we are the first of November, and I have made no progress. I realize there is cooler weather, change in the amount of light, and for me, a higher level of stress, But honestly I am tired of finding myself in this place every year. It is so self-defeating and I also feel like I lose face with others who know I am on an endless path to keeping my weight down. I keep doing things to change my lifestyle, switching to organic products, eating more whole foods, etc. However, ultimately, I know I have to have time to exercise, and long distance at that. I find that with thyroid disease, some exercise is enough to keep status quo, but long distance switches on the fat burning. For me the only thing I have ever enjoyed doing long distance is walking. I could definitely do a marathon even with arthritis in my ankles and knees. I love being outside. Some one on one of the Spark Pages mentioned a DVD, or something like that that has nature scenes so it looks like you are outside when exercising. If it was one of you here can you please post the name of that item? I would like to try it when I am riding my recumbent bike. It would make it much easier if I had something to look at, even if it is fake. I've tried movies, but it seems like I get disinterested very quickly and want to stop exercising at that point. Thank you!
