I came to this realization like 2 weeks ago when I was fed up with myself for letting myself get to a point where I felt uncomfortable and unhappy.

We have to DO it even if we arent motivated because that is part of this healthy lifestyle. DOING what you have to do to stay fit and healthy.

You can do it zo!

Thanks for sharing!

So a couple of days ago, there was a blog post on the daily spark, and the author wrote this quote:

"There is no try, there is only do."

She was discussing her daily yoga practice, but this struck me for my whole life. I've spent a lot of time "trying", but not as much "doing".

In fact this 100 Days Challenge was really meant to get me to go from "trying to track my food" and "trying to exercise" to actually doing these things. Like I have said, weight loss is difficult to keep motivated and to really force the life change, but the actual changes you have to do aren't that hard. It's about prioritzing and making yourself do them.

The daily spark blog helped me realize something. Every time I try to do something it just opens the door to make excuses. Yesterday, I was all about I'm going to try and walk for awhile ... you know what happened? I looked up and it was dark out. So then I was going to try to do yoga, but then my neck started aching again ... so my activity became doing chores at my house. Sure I got the activity in (probably due only to my commitment with this challenge to actually do some sort of activity for 30 minutes a day), but was it the activity that made me the happiest? Not even close.

So from now on, I am doing my best to remove try from my vocabulary. I will do what I know to do. I will do my activity and everything else for the remaining 15 days of this challenge. No more trying, now only doing and not doing.
