Yea butter on corn is awesomesauce! I think I have a recipe in my spark recipe cookbook for a lime butter for corn, I will take a look at my cookbook and see if its in there, if it is I will post the link. Sounds good, I havent tried it yet though!

Ok next time I go shopping I am going to check for the bread because it sounds DEEE-lish!

Wow I have never tried the corn that way...it does sound good...Maybel Ill try it this weekend... we are usually bad and peel the husks back and coat the corn with butter... yummo...

We find the breads at our local farmers market...also at the grocery store in the bakery section...we go to Hyvee...not sure there is one around there...but they have a greats election...also great harvest... but check the bakery section at ur local store...I would think they would have something...

Omg that grilled bread sounds amazing! I have to try that, but where would I get that gourmet bread?? I have never seen breads that came in those kind if flavors! Yum yum yum!

My boyfriend and I had small grilled steaks with grilled corn and some grilled "baked" potatoes! lol

Tip for grilled corn!

If you are using corn that still has the husk and hair attached to it, what you can do is peel back the husk, dont pull it off, just peel it back so you can take out the hair, then close the husks around the corn again, soak the corn under water, I wet the actually corn before I close the husks around it and then I run the whole thing, husks and all under water, wrap it up in aluminum and then put it on the grill! Because the husks are wet, while you are cooking the corn on the grill, it also sort of steams it. SO good! I know it may seem like a lot of work but grilled corn is yummy! lol

But I definitely have to try that bread idea!

Still no propane... I go on vacation next week so probably after that...but I will be thinking of some new grilling recipes to share... Oh one we love is skewered bread. You get any yummy gourmet type bread you like...We like cheddar garlic and jalapeno cheddar or rosemary garlic or a great selection of different breads from the market. Then we cut the bread in like 1 in by 1 in chunks and toss it with olive oil and herbs and then we skewer it and brown it on the grill...it is so good!

Tomatoes and Mozzarella sound yummy!

Last night I went to grill and NO PROPANE...ahh such a bummer. I am so looking forward to getting my grill hooked up to my natural gas line. Such a bummer was gonna grill me up some chicken and corn on the cob...

So now I need to go to the store for propane...hope to do that this weekend.

Wow fajitas on the grill... that sounds amazing! I love fajitas, and anything made on the grill taste so much better!

Gotta add some veggies like you said with the pork chops! Last night we made them again and had it with "baked" potatoes but on the grill and i made this recipe

Its grilled tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and it was pretty tasty! It kind of reminded me of pizza with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella so I think at some point we are going to try and make pizza on the grill!

Oh man keep these ideas coming! Ima have so much I want to grill but so little time! LOL

Mmm that sounds yummy zozo! I have to get me some whole wheat flour to try! I have the regular flour.

I love this thread too... the pork chops sound awesome... I bet it would be good if you added some veggies to it as well!

Saturday night we made fajitas completely on the grill... grilled chicken and steak, in foil put onion and green pepper with a little olive oil...then wrapped tortilla shells in foil and warmed them on the grill...it was delicious...and last night we grilled homemade pizza... we bought whole wheat pizza crust at the farmers market and some fresh veggies.... top pizzas as desired... put foil down and cook pizzas about 10 minutes...they were great..other than our first one the grill was too hot and we burnt the crust :(

GONNABEFIT - That chicken recipe sounds amazing! I definitely gotta try that! The other day my boyfriend cut up some pork chops into like bite size pieces, added some fresh garlic and a little bit of olive oil and put it on aluminum on the grill and it was AMAZING!

Grilled pineapple sounds great! I also want to try some grilled peaches with some honey brushed over it.

TASO - Oh I am definitely going to make that corn salad for the party! So easy to make and at least we will have ONE healthy meal there! lol

I have other grilled recipes that I want to try, once I try them I will let you guys know how they are and post the link here so you can try it too!

Yami...great thread...and that recipe sounds awesome.... I love grilling... we grill everything in the summer... I love to make kebabs with chicken and veggies of choice they are healthy and delicious...

We also made a really yummy chicken recipe the other day where we used zuchini, onion, tomotao, and kohlrabi and chopped everything into bite size pieces... added a little cream of mushroom (used the healthiest can we could find...and could probably use a different sauce or none at all) The added some herbs and pepper... grilled it in aluminum foil...it was so yummy!

For the most part though I am a steak and chicken griller...plus of course veggies...love grilled aparagus...hmm and want to try grilled pineapple!

So you know what that means! Burgers, hot dogs, ribs and so much more on the grill! Of course they taste TONS better on the grill but we all know they arent the healthiest choices! SO here is where you can share some summer time grilling recipes! Maybe you have a burger recipe that is still tasty but low on calories. Or some sides recipes that arent the high calorie potato salad and macaroni salad, but taste just as good!

Its ok do indulge once in a blue but if you are a grilling junkie like me emoticon its nice to have some healthier recipe options on hand to help keep on track!
