Woo Hoo down 4.5 pounds Amazing absolutely no late night out of control eating! Not sure if my time was right or if the 17 Day Diet has taken away the cravings. WOW If I had a penny for every time I was good all day and binged all night I would be wealthy. JOYCE sorry to hear of your aunt's passing. I am sure that contributed to the situation. Although you did stop at 1/2 the bag of chips and that is something! Sal

Hi All! Woo Hoo another successful night with no eating. Monika I have been where you are more times that I can count. I have no explanation for why this time around I am able to stick with plan. I guess maybe like I said the other day pain is a great motivator. (Not that I would recommend this approach.) Yikes! Just don't give up and keep on trying. Sal

I really like the idea of starting at night. That is almost always my most challenging time. I am on a roll - Starting Day 6! I have to admit that I am finding it a little easier this time around. I injured my ankle about 5 weeks ago and as a result both feet are killing me. With every foot fall I get a little reminder of just how hard it is on my body to carry around all this extra weight! I too want to say thanks for this group! It is exactly what I needed. Sal

I haven't done too bad this week:) Two nights ago i had a great night. Last night not so much... BUT i since i joined the challenge to try to control night time snacking four times a week i've felt a tremendous burden lift. If i have to be "perfect" all week, i find it too hard and rebel. BUT i can do four nights a week. That's totally doable. Somehow just by having to check off my box or not each day is making me more choosey in what i put into my mouth. I'm planning snacks in advance but not depriving myself either. Just wanted to say again thanks for this group!!!!

I'm thankful.

Hello all. I have not posted in a while due to the fact, that I am out late each night, and have not had the eating at night problem as of late.
Instead of sitting in front of the TV fighting off the munchies,
I have been going to the gym at night.
I get home so late, it is pretty much, shower and go to bed.

On the nights I am at home, I have been guzzling water to stave off mindless eating.

So far so good.

Judy from Henderson, NV (near Las Vegas) had a Total Right Knee Replacement 10/5/2010.
Left Knee Replacement 2/23/2016.
Now I hope knee surgeries are over!

Now I just have to keep diabetes from attacking me!

I'm thinking I'll have to do what I have been forced to do the past few nights. Be out late driving somewhere!
I long ago commited to not eating in my car. It worked. I needed to go several places in the past few days so came right home and went to bed! No grazing. This will cost me a fortune in gas or maybe it will trade for the calories! emoticon

Hi everyone...evenings are terrible. Last night I was doing so well then it hit about 12:15am this morning. I was stressing out over the weather because they were calling for severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes. Then my blood sugar dropped too low so I ate. So as a result that "snack" caused my weight today to go back up almost 2 lbs. I hate weighing daily but I have to because of health issues and it's so flustrating to watch it go up, then down, then up again. I keep gaining and losing the same 3 or 4 pounds. Ughhhh....

Start with small steps and momentum will build. Celebrate moving in the direction of increased happiness now! With a plan and persistence moving towards your goals all things are possible! Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Be thankful for everything you have. It may not be what you want be show you're thankful for it anyway.
Live, laugh, love and find joy in life, Ramona

On a roll! I was successful again last night! It never ceases to amaze me how sometimes no matter how hard you try you just can't seem to DO IT and then BANG it all comes together. I guess that is REASON number 1 for never giving up. Shooting for day 3 today! ps I hope you are feeling better !

Last night i overate big time. Tonight i'm actually watching tv and drinking water. This has never before been seen. All i want is the water. For the evening snack the plan is a little cheese and some orange because i'm sick. I'm so glad for a team that understands and is there to support victory. Hopefully tomorrow i'll be able to say i had victory tonight!

I'm thankful.

Well this team is right down my alley most definitely! Most days I do great until after dinner and then I eat everything in sight. Recently my life got complicated by an ankle injury which prevents me from using my number one stress reliever EXERCISE. Count me IN! I definitely need to be accountable for what I consume. I will be BACK. Sal

Last night I had cheerios and almond breeze. That is not going to 'break the calorie bank.'

It just might keep me from overeating in the evenings. Chris

Leap, leap, leap is what our water aerobics teacher tells us to do!

Leap year is now!

Hope you are all feeling lighter. We want to see less of you around here. emoticon

It is a new week . No regrets from last week. Move on and plan ahead for those tough, long evenings.

For lunch, I have been having lots of spinach salads with cod fish chunks and raspberry dressing with a few walnuts.

I am trying to eat squash ( a frozen pkg.) if I get hungry and want something hearty. It has lots fewer calories and takes more time to eat than cookies (which go down so darn fast).

Have a great week everyone! Chris emoticon
