Cloverrose I am so excited for you! I was a bit nervous when I went in for my surgery but I think it was more because I was worried about the pain. Well I basically didn't have any pain to speak of other than the stitches. They were tender. And the ones that bothered me were the inner thigh. I had no problem with the tummy or back. The reason I had the circumferential was because I had a lot of excess skin on my back and from the incision they pull the skin down from my back and up from my butt. Thereby getting rid of a lot of my sagging butt as well. That was one of the reasons I really wanted the surgery I can't tell you how many times in bed I would lift up my butt to smooth out the wrinkles on my bottom sheet and discovery it was my skin that was the problem.
I had asked my Dr if I was abnormal concerning the pain and he said yes I was. Most people will have pain and that is because their bodies are not ready for the surgery. Meaning they haven't done the strength training etc. so their muscles aren't ready for it. I may not have said it properly but hopefully you will understand.
Lisa Laupert has this link to her you tube. She has some really good info on the tummy tuck..Watch them! www.youtube.com/onceandforeverwell

I have lost 128lbs, and am scheduled for a tummy tuck on june 19th. I have an extreme amount of excess skin hanging off of my belly, and can't wait to get it off! Does anyone have experience with this procedure? Any advice?
Thanks,
Clover
