Although, I did not think they would strike the law down in it's entirety...this was a welcome turn of events.

We celebrated on the beach in Mexico with extra mojitos/virgin pina coladas (for the boys and pregnant sis-in-law) when we heard. We didn't have many details, just the headlines, but it was welcome news. We were pleasantly surprised.

It was a welcome bit of news when vacationing with relatives that don't even mention Obama's name they dislike him so much. I just walked around with a smile on my face. Loved it.

Of course, Mitt is determined to court those who are angry with the outcome and plan to continue their fight to repeal it..."“Obamacare was bad policy yesterday; it’s bad policy today,” Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, said in remarks near the Capitol. “Obamacare was bad law yesterday; it’s bad law today.” He, like Congressional Republicans, renewed his pledge to undo the law.""

Today has been a good day. Now Democrats can hold their heads up for supporting the President's plan. The SC has decided that the majority of the bill is legal and Constitutional.

For those Republican's who plan to use it as a example of Obama raising taxes we can tell them that a tax increase is only if you choose not to purchase health coverage. The conservative majority congress plan to vote to repeal but will come up empty because one, not enough Dems will cross party lines and because the Democrat majority Senate will never pass it.

More wasted effort by the do nothing(or nothing of consequence) Congress. Like the wasted effort of trying to hold Holder in contempt of Congress.

Standing ovation! Roberts surprised me, I will admit..but one thing about him..he is true to the letter of the law, and will choose it above his conservative leanings if the two are in conflict. i can respect that.
