I found this late last night. You might enjoy this Christopher Walken interpretation...just for grins. There is a notation that this might be someone impersonating Walken...I am not sure but, it sounds like him and matches his offbeat humor.

What an imagination. He was a gift to children of all ages.

My favorite Maurice Sendak books are not actually by Sendak, but are written by Sesyle Joslin. Sendak did the illustrations, which are what make the books so memorable.

"What Do You Say, Dear" and "What Do You Do Dear." I loved those books as a child, and bought them for my kids. I had to buy new copies for each of them because they had been read so many times they fell apart.
