Just doing bands in bed. Punching pillows in the air for cardio.

Life is happening now, not 10 pounds from now.

5 days at the gym this week, as cold gone although now have a cough. Back to gym on Monday, but it's not open till 10am as it's Boxing Day.... Christmas has come conveniently at the weekend for me this year, so I have my rest days tomorrow and Sunday - yay!

On our stay-cation (the 16th - the 20th) I went and went and went........ for 4 days I went. Now I'm paying the piper! I knew I would pay but DH had things he wanted to do and I wanted to be with him so I pushed myself beyond my normal limits. I have been resting for 3 days now and will continue to do so until Christmas day so that I can put my best foot forward with the kids and the grands. Of course there is the stairs that I have to go up if I need to use the restroom (which with all the water I drink I use them often) and Oy to take care of so I get my movement in but nothing extra right now.

I walked with my walker again yesterday. My knee kept locking. Afraid to go alone today, so looking for a partner.

emoticon Renia! That's a real non-scale reward!

I got in a pool today and jogged, did jumping jacks, etc. while doing arm motions with the foam dumbbells under water, so got an upper body workout and added resistance to the forward and backward motion.
My abs are killing me from the weight machine two days ago at the Air Force gym (again) but it's a good kind of pain!

Gym again today and walked to the Drs for blood pressure check, to be told I can cut meds by half as blood pressure is greatly improved and agreed to take me off meds if it continues that way till next month. Woo hoo!!

Began teaching Oy the dog to use the pet door! Lots of bending and chasing and rewarding with healthy dog biscuits! Also lots of laughs! Also got some stuff cleaned out of a small table with drawers so it can be thrown out! It was a good day for me movement wise!

Went with DH to the Air Force gym (he's a veteran so we can go there.) Went on the bicycle to warm up for 5 min., it is hard to pedal even on the lowest setting. Then did 15 reps on each of 15 different weight machines, some in 2 directions, such as Fly/Chest Press, Hip Abduction/Adduction.

Cleaned up after my puppy Oy and played with him. I just got my shots in hips and spine so am in a kind of limbo waiting for them to kick in but Oy is exercise every day even if it's unusual!!

20 minute stationary bike warmup, 40 minutes hiit workout with my trainer. Then another 35 minutes on the stationary bike.

2016 I will hit the gym 6/7 days a week. I will eat more protein, fruits and veggies. I will really cut back on the carbs.

Inhouse gym workout - 30 mins desk cycle, 15 mins rower HITT, interspersed with lunges, squats, squats with dumbbell shoulder presses, back extensions on balance ball, triceps fwd lean with resistance band, crunches with resistance bands, balance ball rolling for abs, dumbbell shoulder presses, finishing with stretching.
I do this mornings before breakfast, Mon-Fri.
Then the wood came, more than 2 pallet loads, which I loaded from the garage to our store with my husband - took us 90 minutes, phew!
