No weigh in for me this morning. I can't stand on the scale yet after my full knee replacement last Friday. I'm doing very well according to my physical therapist.

I went to dinner at an Italian restaurant and a play ("Pippin") with my brother tonight.

My dinner was a long, narrow plate with a bed of butternut squash, topped with a row of cooked baby spinach, topped with 6 scallops.

It came with a "beurre rouge" sauce, which I asked for on the side. It is a butter and red wine sauce. (Beurre blanc is more common, butter and white wine.) I didn't think it went with the dish anyway, so didn't eat the butter sauce.

Have to confess I did have gelato for dessert, but other desserts (flourless cake, cannolis) would have been worse.

DH and I live in an RV full time now so a full sized treadmill is out of the question for us.... We had a selection of work out equipment when we sold the house to our daughter and her DH. We sold all of it and paid for most of the RV emoticon

Now we have the table top stationary bike and I used it for the first time yesterday. I can feel it through my shoulders and my legs this morning. I plan to slow down some today and get it done! emoticon

I think it's so great to have DH's that cheer us on emoticon

and even join us in our battles.... YAY for the DH's! emoticon

Hi everyone😀 My husband wants to get a treadmill so then I can hang on and walk and he said he'd even use it. Gonna save up and try to get one in March👏🏼

Changing my thinking from "Oh God, losing weight and getting healthy is so much work and hardship" to "I am feeling much better due to healthy eating and daily activity for the past month and I can see and feel the changes"

Make a Difference
Do what you can, but never forget that letting go is very different from giving up. Of all the things you can make in life, remember you make all the difference in your life.

I rode my recumbent bike for over an hour

Life is happening now, not 10 pounds from now.

235 lbs lost without surgery, crazy diets, diet products, or extreme exercise- so have hope!

I guess I should put in a brag section I first put in. About my hubbys homemade soup.

Oh well I am here now.


My one friend who knits for her Great Grandbabies .

She teaching me to knit.




I am only learning the plain knit. This is only like ten minutes or so I got started. .

Later when I get the knack of it.

I want to do something for babies like a wee sock or a bonnet for new borns.

They always ask for hats for pre-mes at hospitals.

Anyhow. I am enjoying it. It may be therapeutic for my fingers to help my arthritis she said. It has helped her.
