I opened my salt container and the salt carton and poured them into the trash.......
I'm on potassium supplements and do not need the sodium added at all......

Beth asked me to post my email here. so here you go.

drink more water, eat more veggies, have at least one salad a day, add some fat to your diet, take a vitamin, visit the dietitian, join a water exercise class, buy an exercise bike. turn on the wiisport and do five minutes, buy a step counter, exercise in bed, make sure you get enough protein, Go to church, pray every day, Drink water when you're hungry between meals on the theory that it's thirst not hunger, get out and visit a friend who's hurting, take them out for coffee, find a hobby that you LOVE, find a support group online or in your community. Give hugs, get hugs, help a friend, remember birthdays, celebrate holidays even if on your own, appreciate life, pick a flower, get a pet, plant some seeds even in a windowsill pot, blog, post encouraging words, appreciate the effort. do a minute more, do five more, flap your arms, dance in your chair, turn on music, have a good cry, stock up so you have healthy options, reach out when your scared, reach out when you feel hurt, believe it will get better, believe you can make a change. make one change even if it's only one bite that you don't eat because you're not really hungry, sing when you're lonely, sing when you're sad, sing when you're happy, celebrate joyful moments, wear a cheerful color, turn off the news, cook ahead to have a healthy option when you don't feel good. Nurture yourself, read a book, read about your condition, look for nutritional options to help yourself, if that doesn't work try something else, give it a month of real effort, if you give up today, get back up and try something else tomorrow. If you REALLY NEED a dessert reach for a fruit and cheese, fruit and nuts, fruit and almond butter, bake an apple with cinnamon and sweetener, take a note from Churchill, never give up, never give up, never, never, never, never give up. you aren't defeated til your dead, unless you lay down and don't get back up. start over every day. every hour, every five minutes if you have to. keep at it til it sticks.

AND HERE's another which just came to me! declutter a drawer, declutter a corner, declutter a shelf, decluttering is seeming to be one of the things that is documented as a help to those who have lots of clutter and are also overweight, because it relieves the stress of clutter which can increase our need for emotional eating.

Hope this helps, Kitty
I'm sure I haven't listed every small change that might help you, or me to grow toward out goals but that's all I could think of at the time. Love, Kitty
