I really enjoy Vitatops (100 calories). They come in lots of chocolate flavors, banana nut, apple, carrot cake, etc. My favorite is mint chocolate. I top it with sliced up strawberries and a bit of Fat Free Redi Whip. A very yummy dessert. Another go to, is Skinny Cow or Weight Watchers ice cream.

If you've never heard of Vitatops, check out their website.

They are many delicious and nutritous items you can order and have delivered frozen right to your front door.

I love a bowl of cereal in the evenings. Don't know why but it fills me up and it feels like I'm cheating.

I think I can. I know I can. I will.

snacks in the evening have to be pretty good, as they are almost a meal. Main meal is eaten around 3PM before work, so when I get home, it's around 10. by the time all things get done, it is 11PM before it's snack time and I am starving! so snacks are: apple slices with peanut butter (Jif has pb in cups - 2 tblsp. size!) and mini chocolate chips or MMs, banana slices with nonfat vanilla yogurt and honey teddy grahams, dried fruits and a square of dark chocolate (if you have an Aldis, their chocolate is made in Austria and is super creamy), popcorn with garlic salt and parmesan cheese, protein bars (pb caramel chocolate is yummy), celery with pb (getting a theme here?), cashew nut blend (Planters is good), and a veggie plate with a wonderful dip (plain yogurt with dried dill, parsley flakes, seasoned salt, Worcestershire and tabasco sauces, and a small amount of Miracle Whip - make this and it keeps for a week!), mini fruit plate with fruit yogurt dip, and my personal favorite - popcorn drizzled with 2 tsp. brown sugar and sprayed with butter spray, a few pieces of the Planters nut blend, and microwaved 10 seconds on HIGH, then a drizzle of melted chocolate over. all of these are under 200 calories and all have every nutrient you need. Lots of times, these will be more than enough and even make a good lunch on my only "normal" hours day - Friday. hope this helps!

For a savory snack, it's homemade smoked almonds, or hummus with veggies or pita chips.

For a fruit snack, it's a sliced apple with melted peanut butter. Put the peanut butter in a small microwave dish & nuke on high for 60-90 seconds until it melts, then dip the apple slices in it.

Also, plain fat-free Greek yogurt, a little sweetener, and a couple of TBSP Grape Nuts or other crunchy cereal. Or, I'll crush up a Nature Valley granola bar into the yogurt.

I love home made Kale chips as well as roasted Cauliflower. You can do any root veggie or other cauliflowers. People are surprised because the Cauliflower is really sweet after you roast it.

I use EVOO and some Himalayan Sea Salt on it. Some of it gets some garlic as well for a change but you can put on any spices you like.

BIGREDANGEL....I love chocolate and peanut butter. When I have a craving, usually sweet tooth, I mix 2 tbs of 1/3 less cream cheese, 2 Tbs Smucker's Crunchy Natural low sodium no sugar added, 1 dash of Organic Vanilla, 1 small spoonful of powdered Stevia from Health Food store and a dash of Atkins Vanilla Protein Shake. Sometimes I will add chocolate protein powder and stir together. I call it my quick and easy cheesecake. It is low carb and it satisfies my cravings. I eliminated wheat products because I am allergic to it. And this is good for someone who is diabetic. Usually if I have this it is late afternoon or after dinner before bed.

For a small crunchy chocolate snack, I like the fiber one 80 cal cereal. It is easy to keep handy and the serving is about 3/4 cup. Plus you get the boost in fiber!

For salty snacks I like Wheat Thins or Special K Popcorn crisps. I don't have a snack for a sweet tooth except maybe one of the bars, Nugo, Zone, etc. Or I will eat a couple of Kisses, they are about 25 calories each. I'll also eat spicy hummus and carrots or the Wheat Thins.

My bedtime snack is a flour tortilla with low fat mexican blend cheese, microwaved and rolled up. Can't go to bed without that one or I'll wake up about 2 or 3 and eat.

I also like to make "roll ups" with smoked salmon and chive cream cheese. They just melt in your mouth. Another version of this is using the really thin beef slices (Budding makes them), roll them up and cut into 4 pieces each. Can't recall the calories but really low and you can store them in a ziploc bag for a few days to munch on. For some crunch you could add cucumber sticks or slices that are really thin before rolling them.
