Sorry you're having that trouble, Nicole. It stinks actually!

Some people who have issues playing the videos is because they don't have the latest Flash player. You can go to www.adobe.com to download the newest version of Flash and see if that helps.

If a Flash upgrade doesn't do the trick, is it possible you have some ad blocker that is causing the trouble? You might check to see if that's the case and if you can disable it on sparkpeople.com.

I have tried to do the day 1 video about 5 times today and it just won't load. I've cleared my cache, I've gone to the YouTube website, I've played it at a lower resolution...I don't know what else to do. Please help!!!

KASPER10779 - Absolutely, you can count whatever exercising you did! A workout is a workout and that is what the challenges really are trying to encourage. So, just track all the work out did as usual and it will be taken into account for the challenge.

Quick question. Silly me messed up totally by skimming on the videos section of the Week 1 Challenge. I did 2 toning videos, but not the right ones. I also did cardio those two days. My question is, can I still count the cardio even though I have to start at day 1 for the videos? No worries if I can't, but just thought I would ask :).

Pat - Coach Jen and I both tried that in your account yesterday and neither of us were able to replicate the issue. What browser and version of browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc) are you using? Have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same thing happening?

Also, something that you may find helpful is to create groupings of your strength exercises so it doesn't take you so long to enter them at any time(that is if you are planning on doing them more than one day). This page has info on how to create that: www.sparkpeople.com/community

Is your tracker set to create workouts for you, or are you set up to create your own. I believe this happened last time we did the challenge and if you are set up to have SP create your workouts, and then you add something different it will delete out what it created.

I'm going to ask Coach Denise to look at this because I'm sure she can answer it.

I have tried to add the videos to my Exercises in the fitness tracker and now I have eliminted everything in there.
I had exercises for every day in there and clickling the ADD button eliminates them every time I asked about this earlier and was told they could not replicate this.I keep putting my exercises in and EVERY i add the video the existing exercise group for core upper and lower are eliminated

Every time they are gone this has wasted so much time. I am frankly ready to give up. I had exercises I chose to do and this will take a lot of time to replace. I enetere 2 days today and as soon as i clicked on "add to today "the todayu is goneI tried again today after
SPARK COACH JEN said I might be clicking the wrong button but I am DEFINIELY not. Do you have any suggestions please.

You are eligible for the prizes. Weekly prize eligibility depends on you recording at least 200 fitness minutes per calendar week of the challenge. It does not matter what date you actually joined or started. I hope you enjoy!

BEATRIMSOON - Yes, absolutely modify as needed! That is not cheating by any means and as long as you are still logging your fitness minutes and they meet the minimum requirements, then you will still be eligible for the prize drawings. If you need to, you can swap out some videos if you find yourself modifying most of it or all of it. We also have this page for those with limited mobility, which has a few videos that you might find helpful for your knees (just in case you want/need to swap out videos):

I wanted to join this challenge, but my computer is in a small room and don't know how to do the videos. with no space. I did receive you free dvd on spark points and can do at least two of them, because of arthritis in hip and lower back and possible in right hip along with knee problems.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to quit the challenge before even making a good start. I have bronchitis since a couple of days after I signed up and I really need to get better before I can continue. The doctor says it can last three to four weeks! Yikes! Right now I have to choose between talking and breathing; sometimes I start coughing and wheezing just from walking across the room. I'm basically healthy though and I'm sure this will get better soon; then I'll sign up again.

Coaches, I have to greatly modify some of the exercises for the sake of my knees. Is that okay? I just feel like I need to let you know I am participating in the bootcamp challenge but I can't do all the exercises as described like everyone else can. I do what I can and that is a lot but my knees are challenged. Specifically lunges, and things performed by getting down on the knees.No jumping either. So I guess my question is, will I still be eligible to win a prize even though I have to modify the exercises? It feels like I am cheating a little.

The toning exercises go into the strength section of the Fitness Tracker. If you are using the videos for this challenge, just scroll down on the page that has the video and you'll see a link to add it to your fitness tracker. Just click that link and it will create the tracker entry for you; it also gives you the option to post it to a different day if needed.

ADOZNROSAS - You do not have to enter sets/reps for the videos. If you have it added to your Fitness Tracker, then it is counted as doing it once and it adds 5 minutes into your total fitness minutes for the day. If you do the video more than once per day, just add it again via the link provided.

@ DAWNIEJ76 ~ Once you log into the spark people team page you should see a link at the top that says Week 1 - once you click it on that link it gives you all the bullets you need to complete in week 1. Bullet # 1 says "See workout videos" - once you click that you get all your links for the week -

I joined the challenge but have not received any emails regarding this challenge, and I thought that I read on the message board that there were going to be links to each days workouts and action check-offs in each one? Go to your Start page and scroll down about 2/3 of the way. On the right hand side, under 'My goals and progress,' click on the SparkSummary calendar. You'll see your total minutes for each day of the month.

It took me two years to find that one! lol!

LUSN10 - on the far right column of the team page there should be a block that says My SparkAmerica fitness minutes. That shows your total combined. It won't appear on your fitness tracker, but it is added to your fitness totals. Every time you add something to your strength tracker, SP increases your fitness minutes total by 5 minutes.

Hi LUSN010 - you also get fitness minutes for doing the strength/toning exercises. You can also do any additional exercises to ensure you reach 200 or more minutes for the week.

200 minutes... If I do 30 min. every day for 5 days, that's 150, plus 10 for Sunday's video, that's 160. Where are the extra 40 minutes coming from?

Hi RANCHGAL9 - I only see printable versions for Day 5 and 6. For these workouts, you'll see the following below the video: "Take this video with you! Click here for a printable version of Coach Nicole's Pilates Abs Workout!". Click on the words "Click here" and you'll get a new page with the print version. Sorry, but I don't see that for the other days.

Is there a printable version of the exercises? Takes forever to watch the YouTube video. Have to wait for it to completely load before watching and then not a large enough area in my office to do the exercises by watching on my computer

Yes, the videos for this challenge are all free.

Go to this link and you will see a chart that contains links to all the videos that we use for this bootcamp challenge. In the chart, you just click on the appropriate day (e.g., "Day 1" to start) and it will open a new page that contains info about that video.

TRUNKJUNK - As long as you added it to your fitness tracker (OR QuickTracker), then that is all you need to do to say you did the video. It sounds like you did that, so you should be all set for that video. To get the trophy, you will need to check the boxes for the 4 weeks when you have finished the challenge.
