I started Spark People a week ago. I was nervous about starting with the fast break stuff because it didn't seem like enough to me. Well, I weighed in today and I have lost 3.5lbs! I'm so proud of myself and it wasn't even difficult. I didn't feel deprived, I didn't lack the energy like I usually do after a week of extreme dieting (that usually led to another week of extreme junk food binges). I really am hoping this trend continues. Now, it's elliptical time so I can get my 15 minutes while watching TV goal in :)

I highly recommend using Sparkpeople's very own "Spark Diet" as a springboard to success - it's built around the premise that if you make small goals that you know you can achieve, you can then build on those successes (and not get overwhelmed by making too many big changes at once).
