Weekends are hard for me too. I eat great during the day but other issue is I am a teacher and I eat lunch pretty early so by 4 o'clock I am starving. We try to eat dinner early, like 5:30 but that 4 o'clock hour still is an issue. I guess I have to be stronger... Maybe chew gum instead of snacking while I cook (biggest loser style). Anyway I have taken a break from spark people as the school year got underway... Just too crazy to track everything. Now I am ready to get serious again. Wish me luck!

I feel the same way about the weekends. Monday-Friday at work I do great. When the weekend hits, I totally lose it. I'm trying to come up with a solution for this as well. I'll let you know if I come up with anything :)

Wow 90 grams of carbs is real low SP has way over that Spark recommends for me (calorie range of 1540 to 1890) 201 to 291 grams of carbs a day Though I eat whole grains and of course my fruits And I am doing great with SP Nutrition planner

Hi

I too have trouble with weekends. I try to plan ahead and have some good snack foods and protein handy so I will make good choices. I am really discouraged this week tho. I only lost 1/2 pound. Did I not eat enough? I really kept track. My dietitian said to focus on 1500 calories. Spark said I should around 1800. The first two weeks I did really good. The third week nothing. The fourth week only 1/2.

Dietian also told me to have 90 grams of carbs a day. That is hard, but I try to do it. ANYBODY HAVE SUGGESTIONS?

I was wondering if anyone else out there faces the weekend with utter panic? Normally I do great all week....lots of water, pack my lunch, track my food and get in 3 cardio a week....then the weekend hits and I loose it all. We live in a new town with lots of excitement and are regularly going out during the weekends. I face two other challenges on the weekend (other than great southern fried food) is its been SO hot here, doing activities outside is out of the question and my other half has COPD/emphazema and literally has to take activities at a VERY slow pace. ARGH! Any suggestions on how to look forward to the weekends again?

Monica
