Don't worry. It will all even out. Once your body adjusts to the increase in water intake, you won't be up so much. I continue to drink water until I lay down to go to sleep. I go to the restroom right before I lay down and then I'm out for the night, with the exception of maybe a night each week. When I was teaching fitness classes, I was drinking about a gallon of water everyday. I didn't pee much more often than I do now. My body was used to it, and I needed it.

It's not just you. I haven't slept thru the night without bathroom breaks since my late 30's. I'm sure I have some prolapsed bladder issues as it runs in my family and is very common for women. Things like child birth and being over weight tend to make this worse. The good news is as you drop weight this can improve as pressure changes in our bodies and of course doing kegel exercises improves the pelvic floor. I've noticed less bathroom breaks if I work out a good bit and sweat. Also, my Pilates class instructor constantly has us add in kegels as we work on other zones of the body. Only getting up 1 or 2 times instead of 2 to 4 times during the night these days. I am also someone who drinks water right up until bedtime. If you try any of the tactics I've employed, please post back I'd love to hear if they helped.

I try to get all my water in no later than dinner time. I usually have dinner around 5:00 so I am done with my 8 8oz by then. I HATE getting up to go pee. When I do get up around 7 am I make a made dash for the bathroom but it's better than having to interrupt my sleep.

Try that.

Finally! I slept through the whole night! Whew! Still drinking my water (8-10 a day) so I guess my body has figured out how to handle the increased intake.

The water is making a difference in an area I hadn't expected. I have rosacea (face and eyes) and exercise is a big trigger for a flare up. I've been nervous about that, but managing okay, and I think a lot of that is due to the increased water helping my skin overall.

Keep drinking ONONOTAGAIN. It'll balance out in time.

Seems I'm up about every 2 or 3 hours also! I don't understand it. Guess I was dehydrated before I started drinking water. Tomorrow Is my weigh-in day for week two!

It's not just you! I'm getting 8+ cups a day, and I've stopped all water intake after 7:00 p.m., and still I'm up in the night, which is new for me. Then, I lie awake for too long before falling back to sleep. I'm hoping it will all balance out.

what time are you starting to drink your water? Perhaps you should start a littler earlier and it may help it flow through you body by the time you go to sleep or at least almost complete flowing through. Another thing if you stop eating after a certain time of day say 7pm then you probably should have had all of the water in by that time as well. Just a thought.

Having no problem getting the water in. What I am having a problem with is getting a decent night sleep. It seems water takes about 12 hours to start cycling through my system and I am awake half the night.
