Water has never been a problem for me. I LOVE water. Its my drink of choice. I have these cups (not sure of the exact size) but with about 1/3 ice I can fit 2 cups of water in them. So if I drink 4 of those a day im good. Plus I take a water "bobble" to school which also holds 2 cups. So it is easy for me. Its just finding a way to get it in each day.

Just remember that IT IS WORTH IT!! =D

Just saw the challenge. I checked my water goal section and I have met this goal 11 of the last 14 days. I love to make the glass "overflow". Read the editor's choice article about 12 ways to get more water in.

Losing one pound at a time by making better choices!

Just found the challenge email message today! I read the article and have been drinking my 8 glasses of water per day since the day I joined. I fill a 16 oz. glass and down it within a couple minutes, 4 times a day. Using a Britta filter really helps, as our southern California tap water is not very appealing. I also find that getting 5 SparkPoints per day for meeting this goal is a good incentive!

I have never had any difficulty drinking water...had my 8 glasses today...use up 2 glasses or more in the gym to keep myself hydrated. Keeping a bottle of water at my bedside at night also helps! emoticon

I never have trouble getting my water in. I drink (3) 32 oz bottles of water mixed with bcaa's and glutamine while at the gym between 4:00 and 5:30 am. I carry a gallon of water with me to work. The gallon is empty before I leave work at 3:00 pm. I drink anywhere from 3 to 5 more 32 oz bottles of water before going to bed at night. It's not that difficult to get your water in every day....if you are focused on your goal of getting that wwater in. I feel dehydrated if I drink less than 1 gallon per day. I consume about 2 gallons of water per day.

Read my challenge article today on putting cardio before strength exercises. Makes sense to me.

I fill 3 24 oz. bottles of water a day. I drink one between the time I wake up and lunch. Then 1 between lunch and dinner, and then 1 between dinner and bed. I also drink 3 -1 cup glasses of milk and of course at least 2 cups of coffee in the morning. Hey, if I'm doing something wrong please let me know. I'm following a 1200 calorie Diabetic Diet Plan.

I had trouble starting with the water intake, but I now have a set pattern:
1 coffee morning
1 water when I get to work then 1 with morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea
1 when I get home and 1 with dinner
That's 7 glasses of plain water
I also read that 4 cups of green tea a day speeds up the metabolism, so I keep a mug of green tea with spearmint on my desk and keep it topped up (it doesn't matter if it goes cold it's still nice) and I count each mug of tea as 2 cups of water. So over a day I suppose I am consuming around 9 or 10 cups of water. If I break my pattern my water intake slips!

I fill a 32oz bottle up with icy water and a slice of lemon first thing in the morning and take that with me to work. I will add to if I finish it there, otherwise it is usually gone by the time I get home. Then I fill it again and take drinks as I progress through my evening. Thanks for this challenge. I have only been at all of this for a couple of weeks. At first, it was very hard to drink the recommended amount and the trips to the bathroom were a bit of a pain, :) ... But Iam finding it easier and easier to accomplish...yesterday, I even went over!!:) emoticon I also read the article. Thanks for this challenge!!

Keep a 2 qt pitcher of water in the fridge. I drink a 16 oz glass when I wake up. It is easy to drink super cold water (for me). It should need refilled at least once per day! :-)

When I'm at work, I drink at least 3 16 oz bottles of water. Oila! done!

That is a good article. I would have difficulty consuming 8 glass of water a day, but other beverages such as fat-free milk, tea, coffee and sugar-free drinks are allowed, in moderation, so it's not so difficult getting to 8 glasses. emoticon
