We are also big smoothie drinkers in house. 6 strawberries, a cup of yogurt, a can of chunked pineapple (canned in it's own juices) a scoop of whey powder, and a few ice cubes. BAM!!! delicious desert for the kids and parents alike, plus it is extremely healthy.

Me to Dattebarr!

Carrots, calery, and cucumbers are my personal solution. I have them precut and ready to eat...if you like dressing with veggies...make sure it is light dressing

I have a challenge with wanting to eat after dinner time which is at 6:00. I got to find a way to not go into the kitchen and search around for food. I am trying to cut myself off after 6:00pm, but it's hard, especially when cleaning up after dinner time, and the leftovers are there, or when I go back to my bedroom(have to go through the kitchen to get to the bedroom). I want to stop and snack.

A thousand fiery suns? Now that is passionate Blueridge. LOL!!!

Exercise for me has to start small. I will go around the block and see how I feel....I will get to the end of the road.... I will get to the end of this mile...etc... It works for me, because once you start you feel great generally...start small and work your way up.

I am having the same issue with the calories. I don't know how to do that in a healthy way! Also with my job, I am eating in my car. I've packed a lunch the past 2 days, but sometimes I just don't have the time to eat between houses!

That and exercise. We have been biking, which is great, but I wish I could get up early too. My husband also stays up late, so I know where you are coming from. I started taking a 3mg melatonin to help me fall asleep.

I struggle with getting motivated to exercise and getting enough sleep. I hate getting up earlier than I already do with the passion of a thousand fiery suns, but that's the only way I can fit stretches of exercise into my day. And my fiance tends to stay up a lot later than I do, and it's hard for me to go to bed early instead of staying up with him!

What are you struggling with? Midnight snacking, not enough sleep, that chocolate bar in the fridge...

My challenges have always been the kids snacks. My wife stocks the pantry with snacks for the kids. Most of them are the typical pringles snacks, little debbie treats, etc... They are for the kids snacks at lunch, but when I am hungry and looking for a snack they are so tempting and easy!!

I am also a chronic undereater. Being over 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds that bikes over 50 miles a day. Eating 1600 calories is not wise or healthy. But many times I see myself at the end of the day doing just that.
