If there is anything I would like to do in April is drink even more green smoothies.
They are doing my body so well, and the energy is out of this world. My wife had to actually tell me to sit down today after I woke up , did the dishes, washed several loads of clothes and went to cleaning up.
March was fantastic for me especially my new habits.
Grapfruit/apple ginger morning juice Daily late morning green smoothies
April daily goals: Meditation/yoga Warm water/lemon flush Shot of wheat grass/greens - Just received a hand press this week! Continue with my grapefruit/ginger juice and green smoothies
ST - 3 days a week. I'll be following a 6 week program and working my way up to a 100 of pushups/situps/squats/dips from hundredpushups.com.
Dara~ Let me know which spiralizer you get, would love to start making more raw entrees.
1) Up the quantity of green smoothie I drink per day. 2) Focus on the ratio of greens to fruits in my smoothies. 3) Add some more variety to my smoothies. I've been getting a little simple and repetitive lately.
I will create more energy by spending an hour in nature a day movin my tail feathers! I will learn more about being vegan and juice feasting. I will stay true to myself and accept NO EXCUSES!!!!! I will continue to be an organic raw juicing smoothie drinking joyful gal!
It is a s good as done!!!

DS What are you blending them in? If it is a blender that may be the reason. If you bit the bullet and bought a vitamix or blendtec, if indeed you are using just a blender, that will probably change the texture for you.
Your comment about your eating not being so good also? What gives? Giving up? No support on the homefront?
DSK9KIE the texture should be as pleasant as a fruit smoothie - taste too! Please tell us more about the texture that bothers you. Is it too thick? Add water. Not smooth enough: add water and blend longer. Tell us. These should be fun to drink - sintering to look forward to.
March was good. I had a green smoothie almost every day. I ate a raw salad or soup almost every day. My dinners were a cross between raw/vegan 5 nights a week. I upped my walk to 2 miles 5 days a week. I dry brush almost every morning. I have one for my face too. My DH just smiles.
April I want to focus on my snacking. More raw. But I am eating almost no processed food and want to increase my variety without purchasing my snacks at WF as it's expensive.
I need to weigh my greens as I have no clue how much I eat per day. 7-9 servings a day of fruit and veggies. I also am putting a spiralizer on my wish list.
Thank you to the members and leaders of this team for all the great ideas!

NEVERGIVEUP68: The recommendation is to drink 32 ounces of green smoothie a day. You can always drink more if you like. You can make savory smoothies and eat them like soup so they are not always sweet. Many people recommend eating a pound of greens a day. Smoothies are a great way to work toward this goal. Anything is better than nothing so do what you can and work up.

I am right on point with my Green Smoothies. I have one (32. oz) for Breakfast every morning. Many days I will have another one in the form of a Raw Soup or Savory Green Smoothie. Life is good at the moment and GREEN!
I did not have a good March eating wise/prepared wise BUT I had a decent month weight loss wise. For April I would like to make sure I make a green smoothie each day even if it is at lunch time or just before dinner instead of first thing in the morning. I personally can't wait for April to be over with. I have learned this past month that I need to be better prepared for when life is so full that I barely have time to go grocery shopping, that I have some healthy meals pre-prepared which includes making freezer bags of fruit ready to throw in the blender so there is minimal preparation time in order to have that green smoothie every day. Right now I'm just focusing on passing Chem II - that is my main goal this month to be honest. I have a list of things to work on starting in May so that when next semester rolls around in mid-August that I'm more than prepared for the classes that will consume all of my extra time.

I was having 2 green smoothies per day but the past couple of weeks, have dropped back to one. I'd like to go back to 2 green smoothies per day in April, the second one being one my husband can share with me.
I'm also planning to add strength training back into my exercise routine. In March, I brought on the cardio, and have concentrated on getting that on track, now time for the weights to be added in.
I definitely plan a minimum of 1 green smoothie per day as soon as I'm able to make them again. Will talk to the Dr on checkup April 10th, to see if I can go with my every Sunday Green Smoothie day, Green smoothies all day. Will see what she says, but definately one every morning!!!!! Love them and think they've really been what kept me alive for the past several months with my problems! Go Greens!!!!!

My plan for April is to keep on track. My big goal is to get to a pound of greens a day. I plan to stay on track with at least one green smoothie a day (32+ ounces). I also want to keep up with other things like regular exercise (high intensity intervals for cardio plus ST and yoga) and work hard on getting proper sleep. I just bought a dry brush so I want to make dry brushing a habit too. Food is big part of the equation but there are many other factors.

Dreaming about green smoothies is all I can do in April. I am on day 41 of a 92 day juice feast and going strong thanks to the prep and healing I did because of green smoothies!
That doesn't stop me from supporting my team. Dream big! You can do whatever you set your mind to do.
Most of us had a great March. Some did not. The key to success is home front support of course. Spark cannot replace what you do not have. Get this handled first and foremost. I'd call this the first step to health.
Now that March is coming to an end and we have taken time to reflect on our last few steps to health, it's time to set out on another month.
What is it that you want to see with your green smoothie success next month? Dare to dream!
