Bar none because it is the best way to increase micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and give my body what it has been literally begging me for all these long years.

I am starting to drink green smoothies because I have heard so many great things and I figure it is an easy way to get all the nutrients from things in one glass. I am hoping by drinking 2 green smoothies a day will help me reach my weight loss goal!

I have been drinking green smoothies before they were popular. I started about 12 yrs. ago because I did not like spinach or other leafy greens so I tried them in my fruit smoothy and low and behold I WAS HOOKED. FYI I now love leafy greens/

For me, green smoothies are a great way to get the leafy greens that I wouldn't normally want to eat. (Can't say they get me to eat my fruit - I love fruit on its own!) I've also found that my skin is a ton happier when I drink them. They give it a nice glow and give me an energy I don't get from other foods.

I'm so happy with myself after drinking a big glass of good stuff. It feels like I'm rewarding my body every time I drink one, and on days when I just don't have the motivation to work out, my green smoothie makes me feel like I've still done something right!

I like fruit smoothies. I figure if I can add a few veggies to them without compromising too much on the taste, then I'm totally down!

I wrote a blog about why I am drinking smoothies and the method to my madness. I am sure I will continue to drink them after I get to goal weight, but at this point it's more for me than just getting good nutrients. It's alot about smoothies helping me to lose weight in a healthy way (verses something like SlimFast shakes which I find unhealthy, untasty and expensive).

Check out my blog and please add your reasons why you drink green smoothies (or want to start). You can write a blog about it and post a link here or just explain it here on the thread!
