Hey Y'all,
Last Monday I got a phone call from the Mom of a very dear friend. (Rocky, the friend, is the first boy I ever kissed...we were 4). Virginia, Rocky's Mom, asked me to put together a photo collage for Rocky's 50th SURPRISE birthday party! The party was going to be on Saturday. She said she'd pull together about a dozen photos and bring them to me. Well, on Wednesday she brought over 32 photos and one 18" x 22" piece of foam core. I wanted to do more than stick the pics on a poster board, so I created 10 scrapbook pages, bought 2 36 x 48 in display boards and attached 5 pages on each board. Virginia came to pick them up Saturday afternoon and started crying! She said, " I had no idea you were this talented...I thought you were just going to stick some pictures on the board. This is amazing"! I was at the party Saturday night. She kept pulling people over to the displays and telling them what an awesome job I had done!
I love it when something I've created brings someone so much joy!
