I did read a little of his story. Amazing is right!

Good day at work. Clouds, mist, wind, cold outside. I turned on my seat heater tonight. We are way below normal temps, and I just hope that's not how the winter is going to be.

Leslie, I am definitely having a "Pants Optional" kind of day!

At the Constitutional Convention, George Mason asked: “Shall any man be above Justice? Above all shall that man be above it, who can commit the most extensive injustice? . . . Shall the man who has practiced corruption & by that means procured his appointment in the first instance, be suffered to escape punishment, by repeating his guilt?”

Good Morning Wednesday and Team!!! My Central Air had to run all night and now it has kicked on again. The humidity and rain are challenging. Breathe in . . .Breathe out!

One of my Cousins that lives on Welfare, etc., drinks heavily, and is on so many meds --- called me last night crying (she cries all the time---I don't get it) and she is going into rehab for alcohol. I congratulated her!! She's slurring her words from all the alcohol, crying, blowing her nose--and my brain goes into--no matter good or bad in her life (just like my sister) she cries and is so peronally destructive. Anyway . . . that put my world in perspective -- AGAIN!! LOL!

My friend that I met for breakfast was good for me. I ran some errands, stopped at the grocery store to order a cake for my Niece's b-day. She lives in the area of my oldest son. I'll drop off the cake Friday evening, with all the party stuff so she doesn't have to worry about dessert for her friends. (Seriously, some days I have to talk myself down from the trigger of anger at my sister for not taking care of herself and not taking care of her daughter. Alcohol was more important than her child.) My niece had a paternal set of grandparents that raised her but she always feels the vacancy of a 'mother'. Now, I'm her stand in Mother. It works. We'll make it work.

Ok, my house needs to be organized & straightened up. I figured out a way to hold up the bed frame on the one side of the bed. When my HSM returns, I'll ask his help to take off box & mattress and fix the frame correctly. I just can't do it by myself. One of the Gifts I give myself is : Ask for Help!!

Hugs to All!!! Happy Thought: I have the correct friends show up when I need them most!!

YYYIIIIPPPPEEEE!!!

Off to a late start here too. I have nothing scheduled for the day, but I have a huge To Do list. Starting with three clients. I decided to skip my workout since all my workout clothes are in various stages of Laundry. None in the Ready To Fold stage...

I just finished meal planning for the next seven days and I'll pick up a grocery order later today. That means at some point today, pants will be required.

Took another vacation day today with no major plans. Feels good! I still have a bunch of days left (like, 18 or something until May 31) and I might finally be able to start taking them without feeling like I'm just setting myself up for more misery at work. I'm pretty exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally, and I really need to start recharging.

It's cold today. I think the furnace is blasting out cold air. I need to get Russell off of my lap so I can go check it out. Sure hope the furnace is working and I just moved the wrong switch when I turned it on this morning!

Absolutely nothing on the calendar for today. Lots of things to do, but nothing on the calendar. Nice.

So tempting to skip workout, but if I do, it will never happen today. I guess I'll just get to work a little late.
