Planting already, I wish! Glad you are making so much progress.

Woubbie, sounds like too many people waited until the last minute. Good luck and hopefully that's the last of them.

Had 2 appointments yesterday so didn't take any more time out of my day to walk, and today I didn't walk at work either. After seeing the pathetic number of steps on my tracker I went to the mall tonight and walked for 30 minutes, then did a little shopping. So I met my step goal, but didn't have luck finding new walking shoes.

Four flats of BabysTears today, with two more to go. Also another flat of other groundcover. It will definitely be an alternate painkiller tonite. I just want to finish it

emoticon Heidi. Take a deep breath and get out your dart board. Believe me, even when you have time and options available you're never sure you picked the right stuff until you've lived with it for a year or two!

My crazy help ticket cycle is finally winding down. The tests that the field has to do that are the cause for this flurry are due on Friday so it's just the stragglers who are still bugging me and by now I have a list of answers (finally) compiled.

(Hahahaha! I just flicked over to my Outlook window to check and there are FIVE new tickets! Damn slackers!!!!)

EDIT: 8. Double damn!

mid 30's and clear here today, then tomorrow we're getting some down south coastal precip that will mix with some arctic crap and make a bunch of bloody snow. Grrr.

Tonight is the last night in our house, we have to haul the last of the stuff we've been living with and the plants. They hadn't gone because it was cold but it never warmed up enough so we'll take our chances. The animals are NOT happy; they know something is a foot but are not sure what.

I am SO stressed, aside from the move, I have to rush and pick out a bunch of stuff for the house. I thought I'd have time to choose light fixtures, flooring etc but no, the appraiser and bank want to know exactly what I plan to put in it and it has to come in pretty much at what I said it would and really I'd been just taking a guess when putting the budget together because I've NEVER done this before. I thought it would be fun; I've not cried so much in my life.

There, I vented. Now to work, then to the accountant and finally home (?) for the last meal which will be LCHF Deli food of some sort.

Only one and a half flat left to plant...but will be getting more. I'm also adding a couple dwarf plants in the backyard. Added to raised beds for tomatoes 2x2x12 . My body hurts. I have a problem with my right hip...it starts hurting as I sleep. Wakes me up and can't get comfortable. I suppose all of the times falling off of horses didn't help. This bending over to plant is aggravating the condition. Sigh. Getting older is NOT for sissies. I will continue, however. I do have some heavier duty pain killers when absolutely necessary. OTC really isn't very helpful and aggravates an older ulcer issure. Oh, well. I'm still up and kicking.

I'm enjoying not having little man to watch. Actually getting stuff done. I'm loving the beautiful (though chilly) weather and hope it continues a couple more days. Supposedly some snow coming for the mountains. Can feel the chill here in the valley. I'm bringing in my tomatoes during this spell, until the *walls of water* planters come in. The do wonders to increase the heat for the tomatoes and they can be planted much earlier than normal. Home grown tomatoes are the best!! I don't like store-bought tomatoes, but can eat the homegrowns easily.

Thinking of all of you during the day and sending out good vibes for all!

Time and temperature sign said 38 this morning, but it didn't feel that cold. Felt like low 50's. Not sure I trust the sign.

Cold (for us) and rainy here this morning. Yesterday it was in the 70s, today the 40s. I'm heading for the beach Friday for a 4-day weekend (Gulf Coast), and it is supposed to be warm and pretty. Here's hoping it holds!

We are going to the Buddy Holly story (musical) at our local broadway venue on Saturday. Good News: I think it is going to be warmer by then. Bad News: It is going to snow.

My name is Jeanne (pronounced Jean ee); I live in eastern Washington State.

Wow! What crazy weather around the country! Yesterday was the coldest morning so far this year, and the second coldest for this winter season. It got down to 1, but it got down to -1 one morning in December. High yesterday was 21. Highs for the next seven days supposed to be in the 30s, which is pretty close to average. Woubbie, hope the plants don't get too excited by the warm and come out and then get hit with a hard freeze. Stay safe on the ice and be sure and tuck your tortoise back under his blammky.

Mom has two doctors appointments this morning. Just checkups after her stay in the hospital last month. Should be quick. She's doing fine. That's about all the excitement for my day.

Have a happy Hump Day! And February is three-quarters done! Or will be tonight at midnight.
