Ha ha - I remember that joke about the snow, Woubbie. :)

Warm enough for a walk outside today on my break. My voice is hoarse from my cold, but I don't feel that bad, just tired so it's off to bed for me.

Hello Team! Great weekend & I still feel warm and cozy re: family event. The football game last night was exciting--so I burned lots of calories. We finished another jig saw puzzle. It's great for my brain.

The weather here is mild---no snow. Thank you Heaven! We are still digging out of the last snow falls. I did laundry today and took a nap. I just finished balancing my check book and accounts. We will stay in Fond du Lac overnight Thursday for a dinner at restaurant get together with my old son and his entire family. It's only 1.5 hours from location to home but with wine and darkness---I prefer safety over driving in dark.

My 88 yr old is losing more eye sight. Getting old is NOT for sissies. I teach tomorrow @ 9:00---go to the store to pick up food & salt for softener and then a massage at 12:30---YYyyiiipppeee! I also need to start putting together clothes, etc. for our vacation in FL. One step at a time.

Hugs to surround us all as a team!

Our weather is forecast as a "wintery mix" I'm not sure what that entails but it is snowing pellets at the moments and is -3 degrees with our wind chill. It looks miserable out.

DD1 is sick so she is going home on the bus instead of getting picked up by me for swim team. That means I can leave for the day at 430 instead of 5:30! I'll miss the worst of the traffic on the crappy roads too, so yea for that.

Only 2 mini candy bars today so that is a success. Maybe tomorrow will be zero!

When it comes to pretty snow, I'm always reminded of one of those xerox-copied jokes that used to circulate. It was about the new family in town who had never experienced much snow. It's in the form of a diary and the first few entries are rhapsodic about the beauty and the awesomeness. By the last entry a few weeks later the writer is pretty well psychotic.

40's today, up to 60 tomorrow. Then colder again.

Work seems manageable, must be an illusion.

On the other hand, I started another new supplement yesterday for anxiety for both me AND Kyle. (Kyle took his Buspar and it actually made him sick and definitely didn't help him with his anxiety at all. So, onward.) This new stuff is supposedly pretty active. I feel very calm today - is it coincidence or is this stuff really working?

But isn't it pretty?!

Another mild day here. Snow and ice are melting nicely.

Bakomeza comes over this afternoon to clean, then I'm swing over to Mom's after taking Bakomeza home and bringing Mom here for supper. Lamb chops (I got them for Thanksgiving but something came up and we didn't get together), tomato/cucumber/feta salad, and probably green beans with bacon. I tried to get an artichoke but there weren't any at Winco.

Other than that, mostly just finishing up sorting and filing last year's paper work so I can clear off the dining room table.
