Some of the folks who have lost the most and kept it off aren't very active on this team anymore. AGGIETERR lost well over 100, TAMMAE's lost 74 pounds. I've lost well over 30 and maintained the loss.

I've lost total of 60 pounds. I lost 25 over four years with counting calories and working out 1-2 hours a day, and spending a fortune on personal trainers. I lost 35 pounds eating low carb and just walking my dogs, it took six months I've maintained that loss for 6 months but I have 10 - 15 more to lose its my goal for 2017.

That probably shouldn't have made me laugh, but the visual was just funny to me, Calgal. I can see why you'd be disturbed though.

Got home and realized I must have left my phone at work. It's just lightly freezing rain, I think I'll go back and get it when I go to my volunteering tonight. I just worry that someone will see it and take it.

Talk about strange dreams. I had a jungle tiger eat two of my kitties last nite. All that was left were heads and tails. Not sure what that all means, but it was disturbing.

Good afternoon Team! Icy rain here again! I cancelled my night out w/the girls. It's to dangerous.

The Packer football game yesterday drained me. It was THE best game of the play offs. I stayed at Larry's & when I woke up I vacuumed--did some laundry--froze pulled pork that we served last night-- as well as the oatmeal brunch that was leftover. It has 8 eggs--5 cups rolled & 1 cup steel cut oats--1 cup coconut oil-- 3/4 cup of sweetener--1 pint HC--5 cups almond milk -- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce--LOTS of cinnamon-- 1 cup frozen blueberries. It's always a hit--& freezes well. People scoop it up & eat it like cookies using spoons. I had a huge veggie salad for us low carb Smartees!

I am resting now. I'll use Spark TV later for aerobics. YYYiiipppeee !

emoticon Good Morning!

emoticon Budgetmaw: I laughed when I read about your scale I stepped on mine the other day and I was down 20 pounds...in one day... I really wish it was that easyI put in a new battery and alas the weight came back...lol

I have decided that 2017 is year is my year of building healthful habits so every week I'm trying to add a habit that will get me too my goal of being fit and healthy and organized....some weeks take longer than seven days and some are easy peasy I added water and daily vitamins on the same week.
This weeks habit formation is a daily check in with Spark.

Have a great day everyone!

I also woke up with dreams... and the people in one dream were some I knew years ago but now I can't think of their names.

Is your scale electric or the older springs kind? My old spring kind would shift like that, and I would have to zero them back. This digital one I have now is 10+ years and usually when numbers go "wonky" or it randomly says "ERR" then it's time to change battery. I've long ago lost the instructional materials for it, so I wouldn't know how to correct for zero. It did say it had some sort of analytical correction to compensate for being on carpet - which was a major consideration when I was deciding which scale to buy. I guess it works because my weight is pretty close to doctor scales when I get there...

Cloudy day. And we got a rude awakening with a robo-caller at 8:30 or so, even though today is a holiday - Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday.

She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms.

Not feeling at all creative this morning. Had a very strange, very unsettling dream shortly before I got up. You know how when you have a bad dream it keeps coming back, even after you wake up? At least they do for me. But when I get up it finally breaks the hold the dream has on me. Except that hasn't really worked for me this time. My mind still goes back to the dream, or at least the sense of the dream. (Where's the emoticon for shivering?)

Also shivering because the house hasn't warmed up yet and I'm freezing!

The only definite thing planned for today is Bakomeza is coming over to clean this afternoon, then I'll take her home. I'll probably go over to Mom's house this morning, too. And I have some phone calls I need to make.

I picked up the scale yesterday to sweep under it. It seems to have knocked about 3 pounds off. Moving the scale does that sometimes, though it seems like it's more likely to move the weight up than down. This change, or at least part of it, was definitely triggered by moving the scale. I'll take it, though. I have to take it when the scale goes up after moving it, so I'll definitely take it when it goes down!
