WB Colleen!!! Congrats on your little one! Enjoy every minute!

So, a personal pat on the back tonight. I have felt like crap for 2 days (was diagnosed with PMDD 15+ years ago, and some months it's harder than others. I can get really physical issues from it). and am coming out of it tonight. Made chicken legs tonight for the girls for lunch, made taco salad tonight for us (I make my own spices, so no gluten or sugar). My pat on the back comes from "freedom" tonight. I took what I wanted tonight, lettuce, cheese, meat, olives, made a dressing of sour cream and salsa. it was amazing. After I put my food in the tracker (I usually do it before I even serve up) I found I not only ate well and yummy, I hit all my marks and have calories to spare! :) celebrating with water tonight!

Hi, and emoticon to the team!

Your son is adorable!! Don't they just make your heart melt at that age? Do you still have the doggies too? I seem to remember a lot of doggie conversations when you were a regular here.

Today is insanely quiet at work. Admin took the day off, Field Guy is on the road to or from Oregon, Ops Manager left for the day, so it's just me and Doofus. Eeep. He avoids me like a plague.

I'm working on my business stuff and texting friends. There's just no real work to do.

Connie, the dress is gorgeous!

Woubbie, I hope you can reschedule Kyle. And I hope you vented off several layers of steam...

When I got pregnant I weight 245 the day I went into labour I weighed 244. Got Down to 216 about 6 weeks after he was born. But gained it back. in September I weight 245 again. I'm now 229.

At my heaviest I was 260 my lowest 190 from Low carb.

thanks for listening.

Tuesday and windy/rainy here is S Central FL. DF went fishing & I stayed in the Coach to catch up with laundry, finances, and phone calls.

Luck Woubbie!

My bacon & eggs @ 9:00'ish holds me until 5:00'ish. Whewwwwww! I haven't entered my food in Sparks yet today. DF eats whatever he wants. LOL!

I put a picture of 'the dress' on yesterday's thread. Again, on the hanger it's not as dynamic as worn. I'll be hopeful to post another after the wedding.

DF's daughter & family will arrive tonight at the motel close to our RV Resort. The 4 year old fraternal twins are a riot. I look forward to their Energy coming to the Coach.

The massage therapist I purchased a package; isn't available until we return from the wedding 3/18. Shhheeeeessshhhhhh! Breathe in . . . breathe out!

Oh well. Back at work; I cancelled his appointment for today. Don't know what to do or try next. Think I'll call my sister and vent a little.

I've been struggling with fitting food into my schedule, too. Part of the problem is that my schedule keeps changing, though I think I've got it sort of figured out now. The schedule, that is, not how to fit my food into it.

I had been doing IF and not eating between supper and lunch, or from about 7 pm to about noon. It worked out great. These days I can't do that. M-W-F I tutor Antoine and Veronica from 10:30 to 11:30. T-W and sometimes M and/or Th I work at the Refugee Center from 12 - 2. Plus assorted errands and appointments and so forth.

I may try moving my IF earlier. Maybe eating supper at 5 instead of 6, and eating lunch about 9:30 or 10, which is only a 15 to 16 hour IF instead of 18, but that way I can have a consistent meal schedule. Maybe have a cup of tea with cream or coconut oil when I get home, or a cup of bone broth. We'll see. I was very happy with my food and my meal schedule before my schedule changed. I just haven't been able (or willing!) to get back to something similar.

Nothing planned for today except my stint at the Refugee Center, and a couple of Russell Walks.

I finally got around to putting Russell on a real food diet, mostly because I'm almost out of dog food. Seemed like a good time to start. Several of the websites on raw food feeding say to start with just one food, then add others one at a time so you know what the problem is if there is one. I got a package of chicken leg quarters with not additives, and cut them up this morning. The backs will be Russell's "meaty bones" and the meat will be his meat. The thigh and leg bones will go in my stash to make into bone broth and the skin will be baked for me. Everything is being used! He wasn't real sure about those raw bones in his food bowl this morning. I think he was afraid he would get in trouble if he ate them. It didn't take him long, though, to decide he'd rather ask for forgiveness than for permission, and they got wolfed down.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Morning everyone! I survived my whirlwind day yesterday as a single parent w/ DH being out of town. Left work at noon to pick up all 3 kids. 2 girls had eye appointments starting at 1:10 and then all 3 had dentist appointments at 3:00. Oldest had theater class at 3:45 so I ran her there while the other two were going through the dentist chair. Then went to Jimmy Johns and picked up dinner in time to go back and pick up oldest from class by 5:30. Ran them all home and got son changed for wrestling practice at 6:30 dropped him off an headed to a soccer parents meeting that started at 6:30 then left the meeting early to pick up said son by 7:30 and then home to finish homework and get everyone to bed. I really couldn't believe all this worked out. However..food was an issue for me and has hung over into today.
WHOA Hungry BEAR. And when I say bear I mean crabby! Stay outta my way. I didn't eat enough food yesterday and I ran out of time for breakfast at home today and I guess THAT is a bad plan! Yikes. emoticon

I ended up going to the bakery and getting sausage and cheddar quiche and throwing away the crust and then I added a heavy cream breve for good measure. I shouldn't be full at least until 2:00 with a meal like that - darn straight!

Lesson learned that my food has to be a priority. What do you do on days when you are rushed to get out of the house???

Ugh. Looks like I'm going to be taking my lunch hour (early, and I usually only take a half hour) to try to get Kyle out of bed and off to his therapy appointment. He hasn't seen her since she took a medical leave in December 2014, and he's really made a lot of progress since then, but he really NEEDS to see her. I've been calling home and texting (and I KNOW his alarm was set) for about half an hour. I just hope I can actually get him to get up and go. :{ Wish me luck.

Jenny when you feel that way it is best to just take your time and recover then hit the exercise hard. life is short, why kill yourself on exercising when you don't feel good and might make your situation worse? :) relax and I know what you mean about it would be nice for it to be Sunday and a totally nothing planned day!!

CalGal, wow that trip sounds like alot of fun. lucky! I have a beach trip planned for end of March...omgosh can't wait. need that change of scenery from the drudgery of inside this house.

Salad would be my mainstay also. Being ZC I found out the hard way that I must allow on rare occasions that I can have 4-6 total carbs cause I might have to eat a salad :)

at least most places have those available amongst all the garbage stuff out there.

Sounds like you sailed thru in a LC way!!!

sounds like a blast! Yeah, we went to DW last spring, and just with my food allergies it was a treat.....no "real" restaurants to speak of. Just a couple and even had issues with those places! :)

End of a very enjoyable Disneyland trip with my girls and grandgirls. Today we travel home, so long car ride and will be tired. What a blast we've had. Have had a pretty easy time finding what I need to eat. Actually was a bit more difficult inside the park as they don't have many true restraunts (sp) and everything is mass produced. Salads were a mainstay. Enjoy your day.

drinking bone broth with added salt, water, and bp coffee this morning. feeling a bit weak/dizzy (TOM kicks my butt), so making sure to be gentle with myself. I usually try to fast until lunch, but may go ahead and have a snack before lunch. Will be a beef day, making taco salad for dinner.

decided not to work out last night since I was still feeling yuck, but if I can get myself feeling better today, I may go for a 30 min treadmill walk instead of an hr treadmill workout (speed!).

Gotta love fast paced days, huh BB? I am so ready for Sunday! :)
