I've seen labels that didn't seem to 'add up' before and I think it's usually a question of 'rounding' - the only thing I can think of for a label listing 1g carb for salt would be if it's flavored salt because salt itself is a mineral, not a 'food'

Maybe it's a mis label next time your at the store look at another one. if it's just salt nothing else in it it won't have carbs. that's really weird.

I also checked every salt and seasoned salt item in the pantry. No carbs, anywhere. I may call them. Hain's, Morton's, even the Kosher Salt.

The label doesn't list any other ingredients. Just Sea Salt. As you know, McCormick is a qality company, but there is something curious about this. Showing 0 calories even with 1 gram of carbohydrate. 1 gram = 4 calories.

This doesn't make any sense.

It's OK to just say no.

I have seen this too. You need to be super careful with sea salt. Look at the ingrediants. There should not be any!

Just for the heck of it, I looked at the Nutrition Facts on McCormick Mediterranean Sea Salt grinder.

This is what is says:

Serving size: 1/4 teaspoon
Calories: 0
Carbs: 1g

1 gram? How can that be? Does anyone have any idea? I find this hard to believe.
