Suzeanne, you're making me so hungry for burgers, I just bought a whole box of Angus burgers from Costco!! They're really good though, I'm not sorry... I use them a lot!

Hi Gang!

I haven't been around the past week and a half, but am still eating on plan. Went out of town to visit my brother and his family with our whole family. An immediate family family reunion on my side. Fun times.

When we got home I had an invitation to my niece's bridal shower. I wanted to make her a counted cross-stitch wedding announcement. The smaller one on the bottom of this link is the one I made. www.stitchingbitsandbob.com/cgi-bin/

So I had to get busy stitching. I did it in a chive green on light sand colored linen. It turned out lovely. I took it to the framer today.

We went and saw the Elton John/Tim Rice musical "Aida" over the weekend. It was great. After the musical we went out to dinner and I allowed myself a little cheat with dessert. The pastry chef at this particular restaurant was named Best Pastry Chef by Food & Wine magazine. I chose low carb for dinner, but the dessert was just too many carbs, even though I tried to pick well, and I've been battling the cravings demon ever since. Was it worth it? Yes. This too shall pass, as they say.

Bad mood last night thankfully didn't translate into bad mood today. Have a typical day lined up. Work/workout/push paper (both business and personal) all day. Rush home, throw food at kids, fly out door, drop at band rehearsal. Tonight's rehearsal is on the opposite side of town, so there's no point in my going home. Going to shop instead: Target, Macy's, ALDI, KMart, Joann's. Back to school here we come!

Today I'm off to the dentist client, and then to do a couple of errands. Later this afternoon I have an appointment with my awesome acupuncturist (we're trading services so I do not have to pay for this part of my healthcare - makes me so happy!). I started working on my final exam last night and will hit it again tonight. I figure if I chisel away at it I won't stress out! :)

My eating went off the rails already this morning, but that is now history. I plan on cooking up some beef either this afternoon or this evening so I have some stuff on hand. I still feel pulled in 85 different directions (and my mom is being nasty and demanding), but I am prioritizing and am going do something for fun tonight too!

anyway, my posture must have been awful, because during the night I developed a horrible back pain and spasm. Needless to say, today is not fun. Have to teach tonight, so hoping it will settle down some by then.

Yesterday was a good day, had great workout at the gym, very sore today. I have to take DH to the dentist today, he's having dental surgery I have to go grocery shopping so I most likely do take while he's there. my carbs have been high lately but it's because I'm on a fruit kick. Luckily for me fruit doesn't effect me that much. with the amount I'm workout out it's balancing each other.

On Vacation in Arizona ! We went to the hot springs last night A strange storm blew in and we had to cut our trip short there. Even thou I'm eating out eating low carb! Love you all but an it is hot here !

Today will be day two, and I lost 1.6 lbs. I have been on vacation so, I need to get my food ready for tomorrow/the rest of the week. Also we will be going school supply shopping for my son who will be interning the 4th grade emoticon . I hope everyone has a great low carb day emoticon

I am going for a jog today for the first time in a month. The whole running as hard as I can thing wasn't working for me (don't ask, but you could probably find my post in the fitness discussions if you need the gory details), but maybe light jogging will work. Swim yesterday and bike ride tomorrow. Could someone be getting ready for a triathlon next month?

October 2010: 345 lbs

October 2013: 251 lbs (Doh, time to get back on track)

I had a good day yesterday, should be good today. I've had my hilly walk, worked with the weights and had breakfast of eggs in coconut oil and salsa verde I made fresh on Sunday.

Lunch will be tuna packed in oil with Duke's Mayo (thanks Suzanne!) with homegrown greens.

Dinner will be White Castle Cheeseburger Pie with more of those delicious greens.

It's OK to just say no.

Woke up about 6:30 and fought with myself about getting up. The good side won so I got up and did some exercises and took a walk and then back here for a good healthy breakfast. A good healthy start to the day. Not much else planned the day. I'll do my volunteer stint at the library this morning, then need to remember to pick up a prescription and take it to the drug store. Then there's a knitting group to go to tonight. That's about it.
