I have 1999 and 2002 paperbacks and 2003 hardback I found the 2003 at Goodwill. Dr Atkins still wrote it, it's the last one he did from what I can tell. There are versions of it published in 2004 on Amazon.
It's in pristine condition other than being highlighted to about pg 56. I'm guessing that's where they stopped reading. Didn't find any 1972 versions at Goodwill.

I am starting my ticker again since starting low carb.

I have to agree with what has been said so far. The real guy is the real deal, all the rest are probably just trying to make money off of his ideas.
Someone who truly cares about people's health and writes books about it will not sell food products in my opinion.

I've read about 4 different one's. I have to agree with Suz, alot of the newer books talk about Atkins products the newest one isn't even by him. There's a couple out there that are not written by him. I'd go with earlier the better.

I only like one book, the original 1972 version. Very basic and straightforward. Two week strict induction. You add in food very slowly. No fake foods!

Could someone review the various versions of the book and their strengths?
There are a number of copies available at the Goodwill.
Thanks, Moxie
