Thanks for the review, MAW. I don't think I've ever eaten a Moroccan dish. Glad to hear you liked the Moraccan spice mix. I love stir frys also.

The Hot Plate was good, Patti, but that's sort of like saying a stir fry is good. There are an infinite number of possibilities and just because one was good doesn't mean another will be. I made the Moroccan spice mix and it turned out good, even with my old spices. I like being able to throw in leftover cooked meats and veggies instead of having to cook everything at the last moment. Or at least being given permission to do so - I do it anyway!

Well, I'm getting on really late tonight... my husband and I went mini-golfing with DD and her guy.... then out to dinner at Sprechers. sigh. I am confessing. I had half of a margarita. ARgjghjgjgj! Yes, I know I should have passed it up; ice tea, ice tea, ice tea is what I SHOULD have ordered. I don't even know how those words, "I'll have a Margarita" came out of my mouth. It was being in the 98 degree sun all afternoon, I'm sure. Anyway, that's what I'm blaming it on!!!

Six weeks on "induction," with three slip-ups. Not bad, except I hate having to put my body through the work of getting rid of the extra carbs each time!

Smiles and Blessings, Marbeth

You guys are all having a more interesting Sunday than I am - and I'm wanting to move in with Patti too!! I got up and staggered around this morning feeling very fuzzy-headed, so I let the dogs out to potty and then we all went back to bed!! And I ended up sleeping until 11:00! Holy crow, I must have needed it.

Anyway, I've been eating great today - did a ton of fast housework, met a client here who left very disappointed because he did NOT get that one data version will fully override another data version if he keeps working on his system before we upload my work... Yeow. I do not know how to get past that hurdle with people - I will have to try to re-enter some of his work, but maybe now he will understand.

Now I'm working on a gigantic paper... After having a big cheeseburger for dinner!

Dying to hear from Crystal...

MAW, definitely give us a review on your hot plate. I was just telling my daughter about this cookbook and she's wanting it now. She has a birthday coming up. :)

I find those hot plates very intriguing. I haven't made one yet, but I will soon. For those that don't know what a hot plate is, Melissa has different ethnic sauce recipes and then you add protein and veggies and stir-fry. They make for quick meals and look delicious.

hey all! Hot is the new dirty word! I'm always sweating who knew Kansas could be this hot! Ok so yesterday we went to old Chicago pizza place, yes I know but I had the caprice salad which is tomatoes mozzarella and spinach, then the topping off of one meat lovers! Very filing. Then we went to a natural food store, they were doing a open house I one a basket of goodies!!! I also talked with many vendors who so agrees with low carb! Blew me away. Today was church I had 2 hard boiled eggs, lunch was potluck so I stuck with meat and salad dinner don't know if I'll even be hungry!!
I hope crystal tells us pretty soon and I want to see pictures! which reminds me Suzanne do yu have pics of james on your page? I'd like to see that baby too!

Don't know who recommended Well Fed recently, Patti, but I asked the library to order it and it just came in. What a cookbook! There are only a few recipes (maybe half a dozen?) that don't look like something I'd like to make. Not that I'm likely to make them all, but they almost all look good and doable and practical and so forth. Tonight I'm going to try a Hot Plate with leftover goat meat, zucchini, tomatoes, and seasonings. Definitely a book I'd like to have in my cookbook collection, but probably won't buy. I might get the ebook version, though, just to have on hand.

:Smiling at Kris: Sure you can move in!

The chicken breasts turned out great. First time I'd done them with this dressing. I've done it lots of times with regular Italian dressing, which you can use as long as it's low sugar. I'm just trying to eat more organics, grass-fed meat, no processed foods, and no vegetable, canola, or soy oils.

Good Morning!

Like all of you, I'm looking forward to hearing from Crystal. Hope you and Jack are doing well, Crystal.

It has heated back up here in Missouri too and the humidity is rising. Good day to be in the pool.

While hubby slept in this morning, I got up and made more Everyday Paleo Mayo and Well Fed's Creamy Italian salad dressing. I'm marinating some chicken breasts in the Italian dressing and will grill on my GF after marinating. In the Well Fed cookbook, Melissa (clothes make the girl blog) makes a good looking antipasto snack. The ingredients are sugar snap peas, red pepper strips, cucumber coins, black olives, dill pickle, cold chicken breast chunks, yep, the one I'm going to grill, and I added vidalia onion to the mix. Sounds like a yummy dinner for me tonight. Hubby is going to go golf with a friend later this afternoon.

Enjoy your Sunday all.

Just got back from James' baptism and it could not have been any hotter! ugh. But, he was a superstar. We had a nice reception after too. Then we took a swim. Now, he is passed out.
I was so looking forward to my steak tonight, but the hamburger meat is looking like I should eat it tonight. So, more burgers. Not a huge deal.
I am looking forwas to relaxing in the ac all afternoon.

I hope everything went okay or is going okay. She let us know as soon as she can. It maybe a couple of days after giving birth.

I'm trying to update my I tunes Libary but it keeps crashing ARG. than making redone all the work I just did, Itunes does not like PC.

Not sure what's on the plan for today besides burgers for dinner.

Colleen

Still no word from Crystal? Hmmmmm....

Mind, it's not that we're not interested in everyone else, too. And in a few days, we'll probably all be asking about Jack and not Crystal!

Hope everyone is having a good day.
