The woman that I tutor brought some sliced necterines for us to share. Not what I had planned for the day, but I ate three slices to be polite. And of course it would have to be after I had blueberries for breakfast! I was able to adjust my lunch and supper and still stay below my carb limit for the day. I don't know if it's because of all the fruit, but I've been thinking about eating nuts this afternoon. Not what I would call craving them, but "oh, I could have some pecans" keeps popping into my head. Fortunately I can convince it to pop right back out again, too.

Other than that, it's been a good but busy day. Lots of errands. Warmer (about 80 instead of the high of 57 on Sunday) and sunny most of the day. Cooler again tomorrow.

I went shopping at lunch and spent $26 on meat.. and just realized I forgot chicken livers!! DANG! I got two different types of bacon so I can see which I like better and I'm planning on making some bacon wrapped livers :) I know they have a little carb in them but I can live with that! LOL! OH I guess I should get toothpicks too!

Well, today I realized that with only one class per term and very little client work, I do not have enough to do! I have got to start increasing client work (slowly so I don't die of shock) and applying for part time work. I think too much time on my hands will freak me out. I've committed to a second master's degree and one more year of school (half-time) so I need to pace myself.

Yesterday evening my friend Jim (dad to Cinder who just passed away) came over and brought some of Cinder's stuff. We now have a new mat at the front door... It says "beware of dog" and has big bites notched out of two sides. It looks hysterical with my power-puff Schanuzers standing over it! I will think of Cinder every time I look at it.

Today I am going to do a little bit of client work on my desk (that I blew off yesterday because the client is very laid back and my brain has been overloaded) and email a friend in a local CPA firm that I'll take on more clients now. I'm also going to submit at least one resume...

Somehow by telling you guys I'll do it I will feel obligated to follow through! That works like a charm for my much-disliked ST... which I will do BEFORE I do anything else!

I'm declaring an official "Touch Paper Once Day." After all the meetings of the last 2 days I have way too much on my desk.

Been really hungry the last 3 days and I don't know why. Might be job stress. Hope it passes soon!

Good morning!! I am a little nervous about today. I ran out of food last night (have to go shopping) and my car was emitting a little smoke today (hopefully just exhaust) but I'm nervous about it so we will see how the day goes!

Its going to be a great Thursday! It is supposed to be mid 70's and sunny today, PERFECT! I have to do an interview for the local newspaper this afternoon about my weight loss, to be honest I am not sure how excited I am about this.

I am trying something new, put my scale in the cabnet. I will only pull it out on Wednesday mornings to weigh in. I think it will keep me from seeing progress and then sneaking snacks or seeing no progress and get discouraged. One honest week of trying with no influence from the scale.

Good day all! I plan on spending the day catching up on all the work and personal stuff that piled up while I was on a business trip. Meat for breakfast, salad for lunch (probably) and my favorite noodle-less lasagna for dinner.
