Thank you all for your motivational replies. Even knowing people are in the same boat as me is helpful :)

I was quite naughty the last few days - I ate 1/2 bag of chips ahoy cookies....Wendy's...Tacos....i could keep going...

Tonight I feel so bloated and puffy from all the salt.

Tomorrow i am getting the water going again...and watching what I eat once more. I would like to get down to 185 by 8/11/12. To do that...I'd need to lose 22 pounds in a month...I know its doable with 17DD.

I'm really new to the diet but I'm not new to self sabotage. Loving ourselves is a path worth following. (((MHayden))) You're worth it. I've been daily reminding myself of this. I'm worth the the time effort amd money to properly prepare myself for success. I deserve it. And so do you!!!

I couldn't help as I was reading your post thinking 'been there, done that'. I think we have all been there and had those same feelings. I think there are several big differences from past experiences for me. This time my head was in the right place when I started....I WANTED to start....didn't let someone else talk me into it...this was wholly my decision (and I drug the family with me). Just last week I was feeling like a 'blob'---but realized why I was feeling that way and thought just a week and I'll be past this point and got on the scale today and it was down 3 lbs when I'd been feeling like I'd gained rather than lost.
The other thing that has helped me is the support I've been finding here! That and blogging about my days seems to help me as well.

I feel your pain and frustration. You know the first day is the hardest (I need to hear that too). I spent a long time saying "tomorrow" but once you finally make the leap, you immediately feel better, empowered and ready to keep going. So I'd suggest taking this one hour at a time and then one day and then pretty soon you'll be back on and I'm hoping you take up PNM's offer of a bet and take her for that quarter. You CAN do it! So accept the support of this great team and let's get on it today and one more thing, think about joining the July challenge if you think that will help you. You can set your own goals to help you. @mhayden..... i was going to say emoticon back, but i like the "welcome home" so much better. so welcome home. (you too @barb4rick)

it's interesting how i can be thinking the same unkind thoughts about myself but when i see someone else actually write them... it hurts to know how they are hurting and helps me to see that what i say to myself, even if i don't put it in a post... is still counterproductive.

so, let's just clean up the food environments and situations, prepare for success, and start. past is past. learn from it, but just fully engage in NOW. and you sure can do it now.

You both can do it... and we are ALL worth alot more than you are thinking right now. We all have defeatist moments... all of us. You can do it, you've already proven that... so just bet on yourself.. You are worth it! Take control... and by the way... there isn't a shortage of junk food... it'll wait. Come on...we all feel that way from time to time and we are all here for each other. If you only knew how many times I've felt the same way you would all be shocked. But here is the truth.

We are worth it.
We have had success before so we know we can do it.
It's easier once you start then when you think about starting.
We have the best team on Spark people to get you through the tough times.
And most important... we are all lovable. Fat, skinny or in between.

So come on....clean out those cupboards, re-read the parts that you need to, stock up on healthy food, make a few meals for your freezer, plan your menus and hope back on the 17 Day Diet train. We are all passengers and the journey is beautiful.

Hi everyone...last July/Aug. I lost over 11 lbs by doing just 7 days on C1. I got down to 189 and I was ecstatic. Since then I got a new job...and slowly but surely gained back 20 lbs. I feel like such a fat gelatanous blob! My mother's apron makes me look like a freaking kangaroo for goodness sakes. How can my boyfriend love me like this? How on earth can I love myself this way?

I really want to lose 60lbs and get down to 145 or so before the holidays. I feel like the only way to do this is by doing 17 day diet again...I keep telling myself I'm gonna start...but then i get tempted by junk food and comfort food. Then I beat myself up and act like it didnt happen.

I need a friend or a coach to keep me going when I wanna cheat or quit. I feel like such a hippo. My clothes are getting tighter and i don't want to buy for fat clothes.

Help me please??? Love to all!
