I know I am late on this and I am so sorry, been pretty sick all week and not wanting to sit at the comp for any lenght of time. But am feeling much better today.

I agree so wholeheartedly with everything these wonderful ladies have said to you. I am big on the s/f gum thing. I lived on and still do live on that when the cravings kick in.

You will get through this..it is all in the learning process.

They don't store well but I have kept them for several days airtight.
The cravings are just a bad habit, not hunger. I have them too. I chew Extra SF dessert gum like Mint Chocolate Chip, Apple Pie, Orange Creamsicle, etc.
I also suggest watching fatloser.com. He can be very self-aggrandizing but he is also very motivational.

I actually have a head of kale in my fridge right now with plans on making kale chips. Do they store well or are they something that need to be eaten promptly?

I have been saving my second yogurt for evening and that's been a lifesaver for me! I savor every bite .... I also do kale chips and it feels like I'm eating a bowl of chips when I eat them .... I agree with those who have said to think about eating more protein at dinner as well ... it's amazing how much that helps. I have learned so much about what my body needs by paying attention to things like that ... thanks to the great people on this team who are so willing to share their experience!

Good luck!

Thank you for the advice. My typical after dinner routine is walk the dogs and finish up some work on the computer. Majority of the time I am not sitting in front of the TV. For dinner, I'm eating my protein (usually chicken) and vegetables. I do feel satisfied initially after eating dinner. I don't want to stuff myself. I'm going to try saving my 2nd yogurt for after dinner. That may help satisfy my sweet tooth too (I have a huge sweet tooth that has been wanting to regain it's control over me). Thank you again!

That's my hardest time, too! I think because it lacks the structure of my work day. I do just what everyone else has suggested -- save my second yogurt for after dinner, plus I get on my exercise bike in front of the t.v. instead of just sitting idly while I watch.

I'm with BRIDALKAYTE, increase your calories @ dinner, and maybe even change them up a bit?! The other thing I enjoyed when the evening craving kicked in was a scrambled serving, or two of my egg sub. Not real exciting, and yet it seemed to suffice.

The cravings will subside after a while but this is the part that requires you to power through and look towards the future. What are you doing after dinner? Watching TV? maybe you need to shake up your after dinner routine by walking or working on craft projects. Anything different that requires more attention than just hanging out and mindlessly snacking.

Another thing to consider; are you eating enough at dinner? You should feel satisfied enough that eating has no appeal. Maybe more protien is needed?

We are cheering for you and your future success! :)

I have the same problem. When I was on C 1 I saved my second yogurt for an evening snack. That usually helped. If not I would have some protein. Like an egg or a piece of chicken breast. (I'd have extra cooked for 3-4 meals.)
Since moving on and making it to cycle 3 I have found that I have even more problems with wanting to snack. I went back to C 2 and today it's better. I also noticed my water intake was better on C1 than C 3 so I'm trying to drink more water.
Good luck hope you find what helps you.

I have been having after dinner cravings. I'm craving foods I can't eat on C1. Any suggestions? I've tried tea, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much. The idea of chomping on veggies isnt appealing at that time of day.
