I think everyone is so right about too long a period of time without nourishment. so, you may need to really think about what you can carry with you. i found that the breakstone live active yogurt is good to grab because it comes in a small container. also, you could buy one of those shaker bottles with the small whisk ball and put unsweetened almond milk and carry some non-sugar protein powder separately. then just dump it in and shake it and drink. both of those are so quick to grab.

it really is not good especially on cycle 1 to go hungry.

good luck with planning what will work for you.

let us know how it is going.

I too couldn't go that long...I eat my breakfast around 8:30-9am, then my lunch isn't until 2PM and I am dying by then...then dinner isn't until 6 and I am ravenous by then. I would be eating the store out of snacks if I went that long lol.

That long time span would be a problem for me, too. I am usually eating every 2-4 hours! In fact, I don't have as much as a "meal" per se. For example, I just eat my fruit first thing, my eggs a couple hours later, my main lunch protein a couple hours later, my veggies a couple hours later, etc. When I DO go for long periods, I end up eating out of control when I get home for the day and have a hard time getting back on track. Maybe you could take a small cooler or something with chicken slices or cut up fruit or SOMETHING that you could eat during breaks or driving time or the like. You do have a very tough time schedule!

There is no way I could make it from 11 AM until 8 PM without going crazy eating at night! I have found that eating 4-5 small "meals" a day makes this plan work for me. I make breakfast in the AM, then pack two "meals" to bring to work. I usually eat one around 11 AM and the other between 2-3 PM. These may consist of a green smoothie, yogurt and fruit, a big green salad with chicken or tuna on top, etc. Then I eat dinner when I get home. It takes extra planning but it really has cut down on my stress eating and carb cravings.

Congratulations on the pounds lost, you are doing great!

Oh wow, you are in a tough situation aren't you. Can you not take some protein to class with you to munch on between 11 & 7pm....not good to eat too much late at night. I make it a rule not to eat after 8pm.
Chew gum and drink lots and lots and lots of water. Water will help fill you up...also make you pee a lot lol, but it does fill you up.
Make sure you are getting a lot of protein in, because that will help give you energy to keep going.
Hope this helps some. Hope you are getting your pro-biotics and fruit in too (before 2pm for the fruit)

I'm on day 5 of cycle 1. I'm having a rough time and have been on day 4 and 5. I need to refocus and get my motivation again. I have lost 4 pounds so far, which is great.

Any suggstions? I have just been super stressed with grad school.

I have tried Kale Chips (yummy and crunchy), chicken vegetable soup (meh... I didn't like it), stuffed pepper (really good even without the rice), and tonight I made chicken stroganoff (I really like this one too).

I just stress eat... and I think I need another snack or something. I eat at 11AM for lunch and sometimes don't eat again until 7 or 8pm because of class.
