Learning about carbs and how our bodies use them is good for us all.

Following this topic certainly will not hurt you. I started here and learned a lot about diabetes, and then set up my SP personal program to reflect that effort. It was here that I truly learned the importance of tracking along with exercise. My journey began in 2009 (not a typo). Today my a1c is 5.6. Down 75 pounds and Enjoy walking (about 450 miles this year). Still track food/exercise and try to stay on top of it all. A challenge! Do think you need to know what that a1c number is and talk to your doctor. I met with a nutritionist at one point which helped. Best wishes in your effort.

What is your A1C? That tells the truest story. It should be between 5.0 and 6.0. But, with your blood sugars on the rise you are aimed towards being pre-diabetic. That is when your sugars come in between 100 and 120. Watch your carbs closely. Exercise and protein will help keep your numbers lower. Good luck!

I do not have Diabetes yet. My blood glucose level has been raising. I use to be 80 now 90s.

Do I belong in this challenge?

Is it something that will help me?

Is there somewhere else I should go instead?
