I like those different options. For myself, I completed a 5K jog walk so I know I can do it. I am starting the program again to get a little faster.

Yes you can re-start the program when you are back. All you need do is to check the bottom page of the running plan page and click on "leave program". Then you re-join again when you are ready, on the other hand if you decide to "pause" just let go and when you are ready you continue from the last run you had.

What is most important is "never stop moving".

I enjoyed two weeks with some small challenges but then I got new shoes, changed my running path from road to path all at the same time. Dumb because my knees and calves got super angry. I took three days off and then did a 3k walk this morning and realized I need to do some more building before resuming this challenge. Is there a way to 'restart' the challenge in two weeks or is hitting 'pause' okay?

Thanks!
