Just remember it's not what you look like when you are running/walking, it's that you are doing it. Making great strides for your mind, body & soul.

You can do whatever you set your mind too.

Keep trying! You will get there. It's hard work & determination that will get you there.

Yes it is a start!!

I am not really a runner, but I do enjoy walking and throwing in short sprints now and then. I was always more of a sprinter, than a long distance runner.

Okay this 334lb woman who has asthma, thought it was a smart idea to start the 5k walk and run. I have been walking for about two months now. Today was the first day of the first week. I think I looked like a blow fish while trying to control my breathing and I bet if I saw myself running. I would have to laugh. I bet I looked lame. But it is a start. :) It can only get better. emoticon
