I have been doing a program similar called zombies 5k. it starts out slower. I have the issue with my knees too and I go every night and jog. my knees did hurt at first, I just iced them down when needed and then took a hot bath. they dont hurt anymore when I get home just my calves. so its never a bad idea to ask your doctor, but I can tell you that my 300 pound butt can do it so you probably can too.

I have signed up for this team and I am really motivated to do this the only problem is after being overweight so long my knees are a little tired of carrying all this weight and so I am not sure if I should just try this or if I should go see a doc and get checked out to make sure my knees will be okay. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
