Much as I'd like to see that happen, it's really unlikely that SF would ever vote her out -- I'll settle for MINORITY Leader Nancy Polosi, though.

Sorry, I stand corrected. I saw something out on the internet that listed who was up for reelection and her name was missing. So, by golly, let's all get busy and see if we can help her join the ranks of the unemployed. I can't think of anyone more deserving. NORTHERN California, are you out there?

UH, Bob, not to be a PITA, but Pelosi, like all 435 House members IS up for re-election in November 2010. The likelihood of her being defeated in her San Francisco district is about zero, but she IS up for re-election to her seat and, again as Speaker by the newly-elected House in January 2011. If the GOP gains a majority in the House, she will not be Speaker, even though she will probably retain her seat...

Jerry Brown is just the latest in a long line in that family who is a "politician". The first one I remember was his grandfather, Pat Brown, back in the 60's.

Their family has found a 'calling' that allows them to keep getting richer without doing any real work.

Pelosi and her husband are already rich at our expense. She isn't up for re-election, unfortunately, but Feinstein and Boxer are. Are there any of us out there in lala land? They are all so busy trying to get Jerry Brown elected as governor again that they can't see straight. I was there the last time, so I can say from experience that he is a nut job wacko. He went to Tibet (or somewhere) to sit on a mountain and contemplate the world situation. Too bad he came back.

What is it about California that causes seemingly normal people to elect these bimbos to office?

I sure do understand that but a dem vote adds to their numbers and I don't want another Pelosi. OHhhhhhh, how I hope we get rid of these blood suckers in November. They'll retire rich on our tax $$$ but at least they won't be in power.

From personal observation, I've found that a conservative Blue Dog Democrat is often Much more conservative then any RINO. And if (s)he is on my ballot, I'll vote for them over a quisling RINO.

I agree. I don't understand pro life Dems. How can they partner with the party of abortion? It's a contradiction. It is too bad that the Republicans who claim to be pro life haven't done more than they have. If they would just defund Planned Parenthood we'd save $$$ and the abortion rate would drop.

I am happy to be here with you folks!

I have a different post elsewhere on this subjetc. It's my theory that many of the dems, even the elected ones, are actually in the wrong party. Conservative values run very deep in America. In fact, the nation was founded on them. The liberals haven't been able to completely stamp them out. Not yet. Maybe this fiasco in Congress has caused enough people actually start thinking about what they believe in. This could lead to a huge surge of rebirth, of putting our nation back on track as a republic, a government of the people, for the people and by the people. Even though they took our victory away from us, we only lost a battle. We can still win the war. The war against the 'progressive' socialist's and all the other "ist's" who are trying so hard to rob us of our birthright. As Winston Churchhill said, "We shall never surredner. We shall never give up. NEVER!"

Interesting. There were quite a few states with unanimous NO votes in both parties. Of course, some of those have only 1 or 2 reps, but even the Dems voted right!

This is the list I received yesterday. I haven't checked it yet, so don't try it until I do. It was good yesterday, but they've had a whole day to trash it.

PS It still works and it's safe to open it.

Is this what you were looking for? clerk.house.gov/evs/2010/roll165.xml Fox News had a better list but I can't find it now!

Very interesting: I found several sites listing the results but they had virus alerts and were marked as reported attack sites! Kind of makes ya wonder, eh?

That's some list! What are you trying to set up? A reference that we can turn to to contact them? I'm not quite clear. If you can be more specific, I would help you out.

Here is a list of who voted Yes - for right now it will be for Stimulus and for Health Care. But if they do something else stupid (C&T), it might be expanded. Please reply with a specific, clickable link that has a verifiable source, and I'll update as the info comes in. I'll look at some well-known sites later on this week, but would appreciate others' help on this.
