I think you are safe dancing without shoes, because the carpeting is giving you some cushion. I would do it too, but I noticed with the extra weight I needed more support, especially for parts of a song where you may have to jump or twist your hips.

The Zumba clothes are really cute, I love the bright colors that they come in! I've read online that they tend to run small, so maybe it'll be something I treat myself to once I lose more weight. :) I've also been wanting to create a few t-shirts of my own, just for working out...something sparkly and glittery. Oh how I love glitter Lol

I love me no matter what size I am, but it wouldn't hurt for that size to be an 6-8.

I also have carpet so I'm more comfortable to dance with bare feet!! I know it's probably not safe, but it would be more dangerous to wear the shoes!! I keep thinking about getting the gliders you slip on your shoes but I haven't!

Heyyyy everyone! Hope its been a great week for you all. I'm currently in need of a new pair of shoes to dance/Zumba in, but I always seem to have difficulty finding shoes to fit my wide feet. So this brings a question to mind: what do you wear when you Zumba? Do you dance barefoot, running shoes, dance shoes, socks only? And what type of surface do you usually dance on?

Unfortunately I have carpeting in my living room, so this always poses a challenge - I wish I had hardwood floors my feet could just glide across!
