last week was a mess. dealt with truck issues and did not get home till about 7 every night.
Hope to start this week off good. No more being driven to work. Not sure what today holds except mowing somewhere in there.

Okay, the Yoga Meltdown DVD kicked my butt. I'm convinced that yoga is not meant for short people, because my body just won't do those things! I plan on sticking with it, though, and hopefully, little by little, I'll be able to do those poses for more than 2 seconds! emoticon

Today has been a good day - I got a deep tissue massage this AM and I'm getting ready to hit the treadmill. Tomorrow is (official) weigh-in day and I haven't seen the scale move too much this week so I have no idea what to expect.

It has been a good week--with travel last weekend to St. Louis (see my blog). Have eaten out way too many times--got to stay home more. Slow weight loss this week--only .4, but with all the eating out (and resulting high sodium) I will take it. Got in 4 good workouts plus all the walking and stair climbing last weekend. Have a great Saturday, everyone.

I did really good yesterday. I'd pretty much given up on getting in my walk, just because I'd devoted my time last night to cleaning out my car and going grocery shopping. However, when I got back my hubby and I took our dogs for a walk, so I was still able to get in my 30 minutes :-)

I bought Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown last night at Walmart, I plan on trying it out tonight - it had pretty good reviews on collage video's site.

My lower back has been acting up again this week, so I started back on the stretching regiment that my physical therapist gave me - hopefully that will help! I'm also going for a massage tomorrow so that will be awesome.

The scale doesn't seem to be moving too much this week, but we'll see on Sunday when I weigh in.

Happy Friday, everyone!

I had a great day yesterday! I worked out for 45 minutes and I ate really well - lots of fruit and veggies. Hope everyone is having a great week! Just 2 more days until the weekend :-)

Ugh - did not do so good today. I had a dinner meeting at Copelands. I did fine on ordering dinner (grilled salmon) but I don't know what ever possessed me to order dessert (bananas foster)! I know that tomorrow is a new day and I can easily make up for it over the next few days, though.

Wow, Gary - you amaze me! Great job! I got in my time on the treadmill this evening, and I stayed within calories today too. Tomorrow's going to be interesting because I have a dinner meeting for Girl Scouts at Copeland's. Not too many healthy choices there! I'm sure I'll get a grilled chicken or fish of some kind... Wish me luck!

Lea Ann, how'd you do on water today? I think I'm about to float away.

Now for some push-ups :-)

Just got back from a trip to St. Louis--really tired, but did 60 minutes at the Wellness Center and stayed within my calories today.

I got quite a bit of activity in yesterday - 45 minutes on the treadmill and a good half-hour worth of vigorous housework! I ate pretty good too, but came right in at the max of my calories for the day. Today I'm working on making sure I get those veggies in and keep up by activity. I did 5 days last week, and for me, that's really good!

A couple of weeks ago I joined my local fitness center. It's really just a building with fitness equipment in it. No classes or anything. Anyway, I've been going fairly regularly - we've been out of town a lot. I'm trying to get a routine going for when school starts back up (teacher). Today I did 20 minutes on the treadmill and strength training for legs. My big goal for the month is to work on water intake.

You're doing great! Keep up the good work. My exercise for the day is housework - yuck! I may still take my dog to the lake and walk around. It's more relaxing than anything.

Okay - I'm changing our check-in thread to a weekly one just so I don't have to make a new one every day. That doesn't mean you can just stop by once a week, though! Let's keep motivating each other and offer suggestions for help when folks need it.

I'm down 1 lb. this week. Kind of a bummer but absolutely expected since I lost 3 last week. Hey, a pound is a pound, right? At least I'm back on SP and back on track.

I worked out for an hour yesterday. 45 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the wii fit. As far as food, I came in at 1498 calories yesterday - not too shabby!

Hope you all are having a great weekend. Looks like another hot one today in NWA!
