I had a good week. Kinda in the dog days of summer though. Kinda blah feeling...

Yep, logging is the guaranteed way to loose weight. If you accurately log what you eat and eat less calories than you need... It's all math! :-)

If you don't log you really have to watch it as with the portions available out there before you know it you will gain weight every year!

Remember just an extra 200 calories a day will add 20 pounds over a year! (But the opposite is true too, you can loose 20 pounds a year by cutting 200 calories a day, or exercising off that much per day!)

It was a pretty good week for me weight-wise. I lost 2 lbs. I am participating in a 5% Sizzling Summer Challenge (and has it ever been) and this was the first week of that challenge--that helps keep me motivated as I want to do well for the team. This next week will be tough on me because I will have limited time to go to the gym and trying to get in exercise otherwise is tough for me as I have a problem with my feet if I try to do too much on my feet. Ah well, we all do the best we can. I too have to enter everything on the tracker or I don't do well. It can be a hassle at times, but it is worthwhile and necessary.

I just wanted to say hello and ask how everyone's week went. I just got back in the groove on sparkpeople mid-week last week and I had a great week :) It seems like it's completely necessary for me to log what I eat in order to be able to stick to anything, so, that's what I did and I lost 3 lbs! I spent a good bit of time on the treadmill, too - best option for me since it's so DOGGONE HOT!
