I think we have decided to get the Gold's Gym Maxx Crosswalk 650 Treadmill from Wal-mart. My husband liked it the best of what they had to choose from and it fits best with our budget. So just as soon as the taxes hit the bank we are going to get one. Hopefully that will be this next weekend!

I bought a sole treadmill last year - solefitness.com

I bought a pretty top of the line one because I would be running a lot. I really love it! They have cheaper models as well and are rated among consumer reports for being best in class.

Good for you for getting a treadmill! My only thing now is I need a tv or something in that room so that I have some enetertainment!

Hey I looked at a Treadmill at Play it Again sports and it was really nice. Its the Healthtrainer 740T. They do have some used ones but they sell the healthtrainer 740t new that has an awesome warranty on the motor and other parts. You can check it out online at Keysfitness.com. It was only about $895 if I recall it right. When I buy one I plan on getting that model from there. Right now I have a pro form that was free from on of hubby's friends from work. We have replaced the motor and you can;t incline it but it works ok. It was left out in the weather for a while and so far we have only spent 200 on it so worth it but I want a good model when I get ready to purchase another one. Treadmills are the best! I do love the elliptical at the gym but to have at home treadmills work great. I'm dying for NEW one as mine just stops from time to time. I have to save some $$$ for it though.

I'm interested in getting a treadmill after Christmas also, but I don't know anything about them.

I need some advice about them. I don't have the money or the room for any thing big and fancy like I would love to have, so I was thinking of ordering a simple manual fold up model from Fingerhut.com. Here is the link if you want to look at what I am talking about:

Any way, I was just wondering what, if anything, you think of it.
