I feel your pain!!! :-)

I was planning on sticking to my eating too... Then Thanksgiving came along!! Went way overboard the last couple of days!! :-)

But, I'm just gonna get back on track starting today. A little slip now and then is OK as long as the majority of your days are on track!!

Ok so I have been eating healthy and keeping a happy medium when wanting to eat something bad. I was stressed about eating alot of crap when I went out of town and I ate it anyway. I was planning on using some egg whites and such for breakfast in the mornings. I even offered to make some healthy alternatives for the feast BUT to no avail. Its like if its not fried, or have some kind of cream of chicken, broccoli stuff with lots of cheese or a homemade roll you can just forget it. My first dinner down there was Deep fried chicken tenders with fried french fries. UGH! I just gave up after that knowing that I fall back into poor eating patterns to easily. I walk in the house and its like ok what can I eat to make myself feel comfortable? How weird is that? I don;t feel comfortable if I am not eating down there? How will I ever stick to healthy choices if that is my mindset every time I am down there? UGH I have to find a way to change that.
Today will be my first day of eating healthy again. I did have some trail mix but its ok I had a serving and not the entire thing. WOW this time of year is a big pain in the butt for me. I know its hard for alot of other people as well but I just felt very out of place and influenced by the small amounts of stress induced by family holidays.
I'm cooking now! Going to have some yummy meals for the week! woo hoo!
